I don't mean casinos and prostitutes and getting married, I want tourist things, I like water parks, I like theme parks...

I think we are there for 5 days

Thank you for any help in advance.

Well there is this one legged hooker named sunflower that's basically like going to a water or theme park...

LOL kidding never been, have fun though

Go see Carrot Top and Blue Man Group.I recommend renting a car while your there because all the casinos have free parking. So its a peice of cake getting around to see them all PLUS the casinos are HUGE so you save energy not walking out in the hot sun. They have warehouse malls just 10 minutes out of town, its like a mall but you can find a suit for 10 bucks:)Take a chopper ride to the grand canyon thats cool as well.Have fun!

nice, thanks. Which is the best casino to visit?

Also which hotel has the best swimming pools?

My research tells me the last water park in Vegas was Wet n Wild and that shut down in 2004? any others maybe nearby?

One Letter to remember "O".
Go see the "O" show from cirque du soleil at the Bellagio, it's breathtaking and unique.
Like Naithen said too, the helicopter ride with a lunch down 4000 feet in the Grand Canyon worth every single dime. You get to see Lake Mead, the Hoover Dam and a tour of the Strip also. Plus if you get a cool pilot that helicopter ride can get to be better than any roller coaster :yup:

Best swimming pools from the last time I went were at the Mandalay Bay

Even if you stay away from the "adult disneyland" attractions, there is enough to see.

Visit the Hoover Dam, worth the short drive.

A drive over the strip with a stop at the fountains at Bellagio, the vulcano and the Pirates show at TI is always worth watching. Do the rollercoasters on top of the Stratosphere tower, that's a thrill.

Even if you don't play in the casino's, some are really stunning inside. The most absurd is the Venetian with a full size Canal with boats, opera singers etc on the second floor of the building

Enjoy!

And what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas ;-)

Mirage - Pirate Ship Show

think that is what it is called

Free and worth a watch !

I was in Vegas last week. Love it.

Most hotels offer a free shuttle from and to the hotel. The airport is very close to the strip and taking a taxi is quite reasonable. If you are staying on the strip and mostly staying on the strip, you don't need a car as long as you don't mind some walking. Also, there is a monorail that connects most of it.

Good suggestions above (well, maybe not Carrot Top). Anything Cirque du Soleil is worth it. Bodies the Exhibit at the Luxor is awesome. Also be sure to see Freemont Street and if you are hungry, check out the Heart Attack Grill. It's an "experience" unlike any other.

I am going to be there the 13th -15th and plan on seeing Penn and Teller for sure, we have not decided on other shows. I saw Carrot Top when I was there about 4 years ago and was suprised at how much I enjoyed it. It was quite different than what I had seen on TV.

vegas must be cool:cool:

i saw the Penn and Teller show when I was out there last year and I can attest its well worth the money. (also, if you sign up for a total rewards card at any bally's owned casino you get a coupon book with two tickets for 60 bucks or something for Penn and Teller).

The strip has tons of stuff to do. Circus Circus is always kinda fun to watch. Pirate show is neat. Just walk around the strip and you can see a lot of stuff. Hoover Dam is not too far out. Grand Canyon and Lake Meade isn't either.

indoor skydiving

they also have a 'experience weightlessness' flight, but its pricey unless you are with a group who all can share the costs.

tourist in las vegas. then i cant suggest anything. it look normal in that city area. if u want tourist in that state or around that. i would recommand u and ur family (if u have??) then look up for geology or look for minerals or rocks or fossils. there are cool minerals near las vegas. just let u know that all. if u want know more. but i dont know what ur taste for fun. but yea in city is more fun. during the day is not fun. during the night is yea big crazy and fun!! why? one reason during day is more feel hot and during the night more cool and warm depend on weather and winds condition. Why i pick night. night is more cool night light effects all over las vegas that why i choice night. and night is more actives than during day.

3-J mention indoor skydiving it really worth to experience it! it more fun and more safety than IRL to jump off the plane and splat on ground we have to call to clean up las vegas dome zone where avatar dying. we think u assume las vegas similar to EU when ppl jump off cliff for fun hehe jk jk... but to be honest yes indoor skydiving is worth to experience it. did that then after that did 5 time real skydiving. not bad! but i try after that is my first glide skydiving forgot it. it sort of diffencult. i need more practice with that hehe. it know it cost!! LOL. lot ppl told me best glide skydiving in europe. darn it i wish to go there heh

We saw Absinthe last year it was pretty good. There are plenty of shows to see at all price levels. I would start looking at getting tickets before you get there. I thought the hypnotist we saw last year was pretty good too.

If you are into that sort of thing, http://thegunstorelasvegas.com/

Vegas also has a race track and a drag strip, but I do not know the schedules. Richard Petty Driving Experience lets you get a few laps in a NASCAR, and I think there are companies that rent Ferraris at the track, too.

And check out the schedule at the Hard Rock.

Have fun. Last time I was in Vegas, I won $400 in a slot machine while I was waiting for my luggage at the airport. Lost most of it at the casinos, but it was free entertainment.
