Sorry for the long delay with posting this but it's finally done and here they are, all the new rewards for all the Calypso Iron style missions.:scared::bowdown:

As you will see all attributes have been replaced with "Attribute Tokens" these can be saved and redeemed at a later time if the player wants to reach a higher attribute level before claiming the attributes, 100 tokens equals 1 full point of an attribute.
All Nova Fragments have also been removed.

Attributes tokens now have a "cost" and lowers the skillvalue that can be given out for the mission based on how many attribute tokens are given out.
However, I included the option in all missions to choose whether you want "skills and attributes" or "skills only". When choosing "skills only" the value is close to what it was before but can vary
depending on what monster and skill it is. You can also choose any combination of the different skills if you want a bit of everything rather than just a big chunk of one skill.

There is a set max amount of how many of each Attribute Token that can be given out, many of them are handed rewarded in the old missions, but I have saved a bunch of them (moved from the low level mobs mainly) so there are quite a few Attribute Tokens left that can be given in future missions to.

The rewards are now based on all parameters of a monster rather than just the hit points. This means that monsters with higher damage, regen, aggression, attack speed etc now give better rewards compared
to monsters with just high hit points, however hit points is still the biggest factor. This means that a monster like Araneatrox will give a better reward than Atrox, if they had same hit points.

The different skills have also been placed in different categories based on how useful they are, their markup, how rare they are etc. This means that in some cases a skill can have been moved to a cheaper
or a more expensive category resulting in a larger difference between the old reward for a mission and the new one.

You will also notice that it is in particular the "Seasonal missions" like Eomon, Longtooth and Steelbird that have been nerfed the most. They had very very high rewards even with the old formula due to
being "Special missions", however all missions now have to follow the same guidelines or we would soon end up with only "Seasonal missions".

I also want to ask your opinion on changing the health of the Argonaut Scout 250 to 350, this has been wrong since day 1 of the game I think. It affects the reward of the Bronze challenge since it's based
on the lowest maturity you can kill in the mission making it close to the same as if it had been Argonaut young. This would increase the reward you see on the Argonaut Bronze challenge here by about 25%.

Feel free to come with constructive feedback, and point out if there's some mission that seems completely crazy. These changes are not 100% final yet, there is still some time and in some cases I might be able to do something about it.

The Shinkiba/Daikiba Iron challenge has been changed so higher maturities give more points, this was done because there is such a big difference between the youngs and the rest and since it's unlikely that
someone would kill only youngs it made the reward very unfair. Killing youngs is however still the most efficient way to do it, but it can be done faster by killing bigger ones (Kirakiba also counts).

EDIT: The rewards are now also included in the mission information on all missions.

You will also notice that it is in particular the "Seasonal missions" like Eomon, Longtooth and Steelbird that have been nerfed the most. They had very very high rewards even with the old formula due to
being "Special missions", however all missions now have to follow the same guidelines or we would soon end up with only "Seasonal missions".

Time to get hunting! Anyone know of a good steelbird spawn? :D

Aurli 10k from ~200ped Athletics down to 105ped. That is killer, and is just increasing the rift between older players and newer players, which is disappointing.
 
I also want to ask your opinion on changing the health of the Argonaut Scout 250 to 350, this has been wrong since day 1 of the game I think.

It looks a bit worse than it actually is, the 200 PED it was before was for all 16600 kills so you have to add all these together to get the comparable reward now, of course if you were on stage 5 already then its worse yes but then you also got more attributes instead so might be prefered for some and not for others.

on the lowest maturity you can kill in the mission making it close to the same as if it had been Argonaut young. This would increase the reward you see on the Argonaut Bronze challenge here by about 25%.

Yeah fix the Argo Scout, its health was always noticeably wrong.

I like how every stage has a reward and I especially like how each stage has up to six! choices.

Cant the Argo Silver reward have some tokens added to it though as optional choices?

Traeskeron kept its 1 agility (100 tokens) so thats good, one to complete in the future.

I'd need someone to do a comparison against old vs new, but first impressions seems good. :)

- I'm glad I just finished all 1K missions (last one was Hiryuu just yesterday = 1+ intelligence)
- I don't see a lot of stamina tokens in the 10K missions whilst in the original setting those were present a lot more. Can't this me added to increase the ability to "harvest" stamina tokens ?
- I wonder if tokens be sellable ? Because if so, we might see some avatar with pretty high attributes soon ?

i really must agree with that. from 200 to 105 .. it really sucks i hope i can finish em before BIG NERF, and for sure after 9 OCT they wont catch me hunting anymore.

i got 5600 / 10k aurlis, i hope i can do it in time...
 
Charlie! I thought missions would still reward +1 full Stamina skill since ... this is the only skill that can not be skilled naturally by any profession. Why is it that some iron missions no longer give this out or only give out a fractional point?

Stamina was originally the measure of how many iron missions one individual had accomplished.. now what is the point of doing an entire chain if you only can claim a fractional point?

That's true unless you're already in the middle of the 10k iron by the Oct 9, in which case the last 105ped chunk is the only reward.

And for the argos, of course change them. The more hp, the better loot, isn't it? :)

The total amount of Stamina Tokens in these missions is 2055 (20.5 stamina points) if I remember correctly. I think that is pretty close to the amount available from all missions on Calypso atm.

There are no plans for making the Tokens sellable since attributes are kind of the only thing that can't be bought in game. I have however considered the possibility of using them as event prizes, nothing thats decided though but could be fun.

It only gives an indication, if you started before 2007 you would have 8 more than someone starting later for example. Some mission rewards give more than 1 stamina point too (Neconu & Scipulor for example).
 
i personally find the nerfs are really huge attribute wise, with 900+ usd into this game i am even struggling with completing the 100 kills missions for some monsters, and i would ask if the eomons or lts and if other low maturity spawns like steelbirds will be introduced back into the game through the mission LAs before the rewards change since the rewards are going to be over on oct 9.

i did the lt quest and it was already so hard and time consuming, i know they have been around for some time but i wasnt around for those time and there was so little warning given before the migration ends.
 
Glancing through them my initial thoughts are it's a better system. Much better for the game as a whole. The missions are not nerfed as much as I feared they would be.

The tokens is also a good system. So on the whole a very good move and looks to be well balanced. I can see a lot of thought has gone into it so that's very much appreciated.

With the argo scout I think it's a good opportunity to fix it.

They were switching to the points type for new missions, but old ones will stay the same.

Only the Shinkiba/Daikiba was changed to that system because of the huge difference in strenght between the maturities. I agree that it's the better way to do it and all new missions will probably be that way. I had a thread some time ago were this was being discussed and many players said that new missions should have it but the old should remain the way they are. It would also take me forever to go through all these missions and change them to that system since it basically requires me to redo the entire missions and calculate all the rewards for all the maturies.
 
Considering ive only done some of the shinkiba and puny mission, i love this.

However not having the 8 stamina points for a simple reason i didnt join sooner i still find BS, when people go all for attributes..

But i like the mission change.

Everyone have missed something by not joining sooner, no matter how early they joined (except for the beta players maybe) :)
 
No doubt there will be many with input on the minutiae of the various rewards, so I will simply say "Thank You" for a very nice feature - CHOICE. This is a very positive development. Well done!

However, since that quirk lives on with the Portal Guardians and Chimera on NI (A copy/paste job if there ever was one) and it screws up the mission rewards, go for it.

Overall - good work on the rewards. They seem well thought out and balanced. I'll be able to restart some the 5k missions I've been sitting on because of the Novas.

I really like being able to get more skills instead of attributes!

I thought the idea was that scouts were to be as weak as youngs, but hit harder (than adults).

There is a set max amount of how many of each Attribute Token that can be given out, many of them are handed rewarded in the old missions, but I have saved a bunch of them (moved from the low level mobs mainly) so there are quite a few Attribute Tokens left that can be given in future missions to.

I dont get that.
Is it a "systemwide" (or planetwide) limitation, so whe let's say 10k agility tokens have been awarded then noone would get any agility token at all?
Or is it a personal limit, so each person at the most can get let's say 500 tokens (+5 for a certain attribute)?
