Brig General Yevgeny de Souza, Commander of CDF Ground Forces stated the entire Planet Calypso was brought to complete standstill by a planet wide electronic pulse attack inflicted by the fierce Robot menace this morning. Rumours suggest the surprise attack multiplied some avatars profession levels to uber status along with a recruitment request to spy on CDF ground elite installations.
We are pleased to report that all colonists rejected the robot menace offer, and immediately requested a memory reversal from the Calypso science institute.
The pulse also caused major disruption to the auction house and threw it into complete turmoil, Yevgeny said this was an obvious attempt to sabotage the planet wide economy. New auction completely upgraded computers are currently being installed to address these issues, with many advancements linked to Crafting terminals.
The effects of the electronic pulse appears to have caused many changes on planet, it has been reported that many creatures effected by the surge are dropping completely new and different loot.
General Yevgeny stated that he was not at all happy with this unprovoked robot attack without warning, and that much work will need to be done over the next week to truly understand the extent of the disruption. He also urges colonists to skill new missions to prepare for next unknown attack.
Efforts are still underway to restore all power to the planet, Commander Kim would like to thank all colonists for their continued patience whist all teleportors are brought back on line, and revival terminals electronic equipment is replaced and repaired to full working order.
