When I hunted sumina a while back I think the best armor setup for them was phantom+6D or something. If you got the peds, a switch up there might help quite alot.

Yeah Phantom is a nice, but i started hunting Sumimas with ghost+5b/ 6b. Did pretty well, hit a 10k+ and upgraded to Ghoul.. I hit another 10k+ and after that my loots been a nightmare. (But have in mind that I played hardcore at that time and had around 6-8k TT loss before each uber.)
And i was forced to sell the armor to be able to continue play...

Anyway thats history, because im back in square one.. again lol. Ghost+5b or 6b works just fine. Using a rifle with good range makes it pretty easy to hunt Sumimas.

i wonder if you can make the repair bill less and less i bet you that if you worked on making the decay less for yourself and only manage to decay what you need aka weapon your profit will increase 10 fold...

i always theorized tha hunting needs to be extremely eco to win

There are two ways of hunting.

1. Eco as hell, relying on small MU from everyday items to close the small gap between 95%-100%

2. Full dps creating a huge tt loss and hoping for MU to cover the loss, this is the way the OP is hunting.

Difference between the 2 styles is if you hit a bad streak nr1 leaves you with... not so much loss, while option 2 makes you sell out and leave.

Sure option 2 is more fun, since swirlies trigger the gambling mind and making endorphine flow.

btw, in your MU result, do you include your MU cost in terms of L weapons used, or do you only calc tt burned from the gun?

This -1250 can be really good if u did cycle 200k peds, but if u only cycle 5k its not good.

Simple:
Eco Hunting = Small profits/small losses.
"Decay/Dps" Hunting = Bigger losses/Bigger profit + bigger chance to HOF/Uber.

In my 3-4 first years ingame, i was only doing eco hunting. I was not a big fan of decay... If you go eco, the peds will last longer but overall what i notice is... You have small losses/profits. Sure you have poor results aswell, but often the day after you get some of it back. But in the long run, you wont see uber or hofs that often.

Then 1-2 years ago i started to believe in personal loot pool and changed strategy. Lose fast and Hof Fast!
Before I continue, i must say that under this time I had my best returns. Few small ubers, 2x 10k+ sumima ubers, silent drops etc.
But the road to get these kind of drops had cost me alot. Before each sumima uber I lost around 6-8k peds in TT value. But overall in total i did actually profit. From having a Ghost armor, 1x a104, 5K peds cycle, ---> Ghoul, 3x A105, 10k Peds to cycle.

Anyway, you guys know how MA works. They give and then they want it back... And since i got the last big uber, my returns after has been bad. i was still going on same strategy.. but after I started to notice that I had looses over 10k ped TT, i knew something is wrong or maybe i thought the next uber would be a ATH.

Anyways, hunting were better before when mobs actually dropped good % items regularly. But the system does not work the same way now as before. My latest visit in ark, same there. I lost peds fast, around 4-6kped TT and then the return came. I got a uber, hoffed several times, but... i cant say I recovered the whole loss but it might been close.

Always include the markup on decay. TT+ the % i payed.

This is my plan: Hunt and hunt, and last day on each month i will calculate the Total return, total ammo spent etc etc and post it in Post#2- Monthly Summary.

I dont understand why you dont count the % tt return after you included repairs, and i dont understand the TT VS MU , because according to your log you have now spent almost 10k ped and are total +80 ped Profit.
