Hi

Since the introduction of vehicles, planets, etc, Powerful Wormhole chips have seen their use severely effected by new game dynamics. There are quite a few owners out there holding tight until something changes to give this chip some value and use again. I have submitted many support cases and get the usual responses thanking me for my suggestions.

1. So to make the case stronger I want to know how many chips are in game and make a list of players effected.
2. A list of suggested feature upgrades we would like to see in this chip.

Powerful Wormhole chip owners list:
1. Bjorn Bjorn Longstaff
2. Lela La Tatiki
3. Thomas Kahr Krestovnikoff
4. Kitty Kitty Fire
5. Augis Auktuma Tumas
6. Dan Dan Petrov
7. Siobhan Siam Ameno
8. Pate Twiffo Pallinaama
9. Carloz BlueBoy DeFortisimo
10. Lars Mr Lars Sebra
11. Baron Von Steuben
12. Blue Corvette Velvet
13. George Ace Skywalker

Suggested improvements;
1. Remove the friend to friend feature. It makes spontaneously using the chip hard if your friends are no in a suitable area or on the same planet. Now your friends may be on a different planet which wasnt an issue before.

2. Make the wormhole creation area smaller so you dont need to find wide open spaces

3. Allow interplanetary wormholes

4. Make feature similar to teleprt chips where you select point on map as destination.

Lets get these chips back on track!

Cheers
Bjorn

actually they made the wormhole much easier to use btw..
cause i complained to them a few times about it ... seems to work much better recently

and auktuma is a owner....
but i am borrowing... and i only open wormholes to get tps for people now a days.

Personally, I'd like the drop rate increased or something ;)

Been wanting one for years.

I heard they started dropping again lately, or at least someone looted one? :dunno:

I wouldn't get your hopes up about interplanetary wormholes.

A long time ago, when it was possible, someone did a wormhole from Calypso to either CP or FOMA and MA locked him. :)

I agree. MA would never allow this, as it completely removes the use of spaceships to travel. And IIRC it was Noggin who did that to CND (or FOMA as it's now called).

A better bet would be wormhole to/from the planet and it's corresponding space station (not that I can see much point in it).

Maybe if it costs enough and has some restrictions, like not allowing any items except VSE, PED card and worn clothing? :dunno:

As far as i remember Noggin only got a temp ban, but I could remember wrong. But it sure was great fun to just tp up to CND (FOMA).
I hardly think think MA will ever allow interplanetary wormholes, not without some kind of huge nerf

And for the record I own two chips, with a sale in process on the spare one. I'll let the new owner know of this thread.

Well if not interplanetary then something cool needs to change. But interplanetary wormhole chips would allow MF specialists an option to provide a service also. Anyway, keep those names coming

If you want MF specialists to use them, then MA should lift the professional requirement to use wormhole to at least "Translocator Level 35". Even that is a bit noobish really.

Agreed. I would not mind it if they improved the usefulness of wormholes, but if an improvement like interplanet (however restricted it may be if it happens) would be added, it should require a much higher level to be able to use it at all for that activity.

Nah, even like you said you dont like fantasy and magic like wow and such just look at exsisting examples.
- Moda fap, mery mayhem mod fap - you need just lvl 38 to max it and to perform at leas 2 times better and cheaper than someone with lvl 102 to 110 and use crafted fap like survivor.
With your words ..- its just full wow fantasy magic.
Now why we shud be all masohists and ask for much higher lvl to be able to use it ?

*lvl 79 tranlocator here and own wormhole chip

I dont think the original requirement to use the chip should be raised for its current purpose.

What would be great is additional uses for the chip as well as additional level requirements for each new function.

That would give enough incentive to keep the owners skilling them instead of collecting dust , and also raise their value significantly or at least keep them from declining.

I own one.

Here's one more for your list. I have a wormhole chip.

Yes, that's how I meant :) regular can keep current level requirement, but another function like some kind of interplanet wormhole should have a higher requirement

I agree with that. I hope we can get MA to adjust them to suit then modern Entropia Universe.
Keep those names coming! Does Luckycharm still have one?

So we have 9 owners so far and I am sure there are more! Guys, we must must petition MA to revamp these chips. Some players used them as a business and since the introduction of vehicles they have fallen out of favour. Though tempting, try not to sell them at ridiculously cheap prices as it hurts the other owners.

You might add Lars Mr Lars Sebra as well.

I have one

Baron Von Steuben

There are at least another 3 not on your list that I know currently own one (not my place to quote those names).

Also Carloz Blueboy has his in auction at the moment.

so at least 15 chips.

Rick

luckycharm sold both chips he owned, so not an owner, but potentially 2 more people out there for your list?

Akas had one I recall. not sure if he sold it or not. I could ask next time we meet.
