Issue with Dmg/Sec?

If you look at the item page for a weapon on Entropedia the Dmg/Sec seems to be listed correctly. For example:

44 dmg. 60 attacks per minute. 44 dmg/sec.

But if you look at the items via the chart page you get a different dmg/sec:

Is the dmg/sec calculated differently in each of those places?

That is called "effective dps". It takes into account the fact that you don't always hit the target and you don't always inflict full damage on a hit. It also takes into account critical hits.
If you want theoretical dps in the weapon charts you can uncheck "effective damage".

You might be able to revert it back to old-style dmg/sec and dmg/pec figures, but entropedia these days calculates average dmg/sec and average dmg/pec which are more meaningful figures. So if you were maxed on the gun, you'd be doing between 22 and 44 damage each time, so an average of 33. It also corrects for the fact you'll miss some of your shots, hence the 30.6. You can also upload your skills to entropedia, then it'll give the figures that match your skill level.
