My god. I thought the hermes (and like) armor was bad. Please don't fall into the "show as little as possible" way of thinking, MA :( I want to utilize great armor without looking like I'm supposed to be stripping.

All we need is a way to stuff some ped in there somewhere when they are pole dancing.

That reminds me, do they still have the dancing/stripper stage up at CP? I seem to remember disco balls and lights and dancers coming out on that stage at different intervals, of course that could have been in my PE dreams, or random encounter up there with some in game avatar, or some faded drunken memory from my days overseas in the military.

Fair is fair, what's next, male avatar uber cock socks? :laugh:

I get your point, but daaaamn so much shit-talking about all this on the internet I get sick of it. I hate things being un-equal and that goes the other way around as well ofc... Something that has been forgotten in the fight about discrimination :p ... :D


Me myself? I think the armors looks great.
The male version would probably be Rutuba (the green one with a backstrap showing whole breast and abs on male avatars)

Should we remove that too because it shows 'too much skin so I feel like a stripper' or "my avatars beer-belly I am ashamed over gives me nervous breakdowns whenever I wear my armor in twin peaks'

Seriously, I give a very minor sh*t about sexy clothing in the game. Main reason I'm against these is because it just doesn't look good. It doesn't fit the theme of the planet, it isn't aesthetically pleasing - so why add it? Its a mild annoyance because I feel it dilutes the style of the game. Before we know it EU looks like some back-alley in Second Life.

Clothes are a complete aesthetical choice so that choice being there doesn't bother me that much.

However adding these styles to something useful like armor is bullshit. I don't want to look at a range of armors, consider the stats and then have to reassess my choices because I don't want to run around in just pantyhose and shiny star-nipples. :rolleyes:

More Mass Effect style, less Asian Tits and Ass-RPGs, please. And I KNOW there are some really good designers over at MindArk that can do some pretty neat stuff so why waste talent on this? Seriously guys, if you read this, you know you can do better.

Perfect! New PK armor! Drop it like rain rendering the stupid Alien PVP armor total garbage! They gotta do SOMETHING for PVP cuz right now PK'ers gotta spend stupid on high tier (L) gear to partake so they pretty much just DON'T. Saturate the PK market with good (cheaply priced) UL PK gear and get people cycling PEDs on NOTHING. It'd be a nice boost to the economy if every noob on the planet could afford UL PK armor.

Think about it...

Noob A goes to rig in Vigi and gets killed in 1 shot by Noob B with a Terminator.
Noob A sais "this is stupid.... f'k that noise..." and never goes back to PVP.

or....

Noob A has kickass UL PK armor that he paid TT+200 PED for. Goes to rig and Noob B needs 2 or 3 shots with Terminator. In the mean time Noob A also gets a shot or two off with his Tier 8 LC-35. Now Noob A feels like he has a chance. So he returns 10-15 times before he realizes he doesn't.

The first example dumped about 1 PED into the economy. The second dumped about 20 PED into the economy. All because of cheap gear! And sorry to the Alien armor owners out there and maybe even the Eon owners.... but let's face it.... PVP sucks because the cost vs. the rewards are just not worth it right now. AND Reality is.... PVP COULD be a GREAT source of revenue for the system.

Someone was bored on a Wednesday afternoon and came up with this, probably the same person that designed the Boorum.

Just don't let them near the Xmas gifts as gimp masks and dildos just aren't festive enough.

On topic though I love the armour heels (shoes), and sure even the girlies in game will have there eyes on those.

As my imagination has just gone a bit wild. I have a vision of a male MA director visiting a hardcore sex shop to buy samples of erotic clothing on his company card then whipping a few leather dressed mannequin dolls hanging from a ceiling in that said shop for the pleasure of gaming development.

The stats on this thing is a whole another story thou, and not funny at all.
Never liked this less-is-more-style with armors. Way too unrealistic, i don't buy it.

With this armor ostensibly available at some point this year, I wonder about what other special editions of L armors MA will introduce. The RX armor is obviously a close copy of infiltrator, and this new one of Hermes. Perhaps we will see if a UL copy of Rutuba get released.

There is an armor that new avatars can test when they arrive but that isn't ingame at the moment.
Since all others that they can test are unlimited, may be one day we get something similiar in looks.

There is some really fine gamedesign out there that does sexy well, because sexy is coupled with powerful in a way that fits with the theme of their games (See Demon Hunter in Diablo 3, or even female Monk, Maya in the Borderlands series, Faith from Mirrors Edge etc etc.)

Its natural, in game design, to want to empathize your power and position as you progress through what you wear. This armor is like a misunderstood version of the concept.

I've liked that in EU females have (for the most part) had a chance to look powerful without undressing. And heck, I still find a full set of shadow much more alluring then this.

(I quite like those heels too, though - but as a fashion accessory)
 
This armour has been out for a few month, well not out but Sera has had it for a long time now.
