Info: MF Chips and what drops them.

Hey,

I'm trying to collect info about specifically the unlimited MF chips and which creatures drop them.
This thread is to help every one who wants to collect the chips, or just wants to know more about it.

Since Entropedia does not have all the information about this, please contribute to make this list complete. The items with 'undiscovered' behind the name, seem to have little or no information at all, or are truly undiscovered so far.

Thanks this would suggest on Calypso Beacon missions could be looting some unlimited chips. Perhaps someone could confirm who has done lots of beacons?

Edit: Corrosive I (UL) drops from Aakas instances, level 1 and/or 2.

Love to see people responding already, it seems there are only few that contribute these details to entropedia.

Currently I have no plans on adding the (L) attack chips, mainly due to the fact there are many out there. However, if I get requests to make a list for that too, I will.

Currenly, so far I know, there are only (L) Arsonistic Chips.

It does seem it should be added to the list, since there is absolute zero information about that, thank you. Will get on to it soon.

I looted a Health Augmentation Chip I (L) today. .

This is not a buying/selling topic, this is a topic to find out where the chips on the list come from.

Combustive VIII was discovered by Svena Faraday in one of the higher aakas I believe, maybe 9? 10? or something really high, ask her... Snake Slither Hellfire is the current owner of the Combustive VIII, I believe it was discovered late June -- maybe a month ago.

As for Corrosive Nanochips, they go as high as XI (undiscovered) so far. Speculation is that the Proteron might drop them -- however, proteron are hunted VERY frequently and there have been 0 drops. Speculation of this is because Proteron drop Corrosive XI (L) chips, the last time I received an (L) chip from them was a few weeks ago, so they still drop the limited, but no one really knows what drops the Unl.

Arsonistic Chip III TEN Unl are found on Aurli, Longtooth afaik.

BTW: all the U chips i've seen discovered have dropped from a mob that also dropped the L version. A couple of exceptions are those that were discovered on an event mob and those discovered in an instance (arkadian aakas mainly)

The fact that corrosive VIII was discovered in aakas 8 and then later dropped from sumima (a mob that drops the L version) probably means that any mob that drops L chip will also drop U chip.

Got my Lacerating Attack Nanochip VII from a loongtooth.

Thus far I've looted Corr I (L) and Arson I (L) from Aakas 1 (I know this is primarily a UL thread, but I figured I'd throw the Corr chip in there anyways). Also, Allos drop Arson 2 (L). My suspicion is that all Aakas instances have a chance to loot all UL / L chips at a level equal to their current level.
