Anyone remembers on the Pandora Tower ? :D
Yeah, I remember spending a good couple of hours trying to figure out how to enter it, when I stumbled upon it for the first time. That was time when I still believed that every thing in EU has a purpose :D

Sigh.. I miss that place....the underwater smiley face, odd quirky places to see e.g. spiral mountain, really running tp's in groups, doing the running tour with noobs of castles. Oh yeah I'd be there in a New York minute!

Old friend, those days are so long gone! I miss our TP runs and tours and how everything seemed more meaningful.

Found a few old Screens.

It was a nice time ....

yup i remember to get a 80 ped lyst glob in the wall of this tower. Could not extract it and MA don't helped me.

But i miss that damn tower hehe

Ive just had some time for the story.. :D

After years of hiding, Dr. Niels Barton was manufacturing a device in his secret laboratory which should never get into the hands of anyone. After completing the project, he and his team, for safety reasons, decided to transfer the newly created device to another, more safer part of the planet. However, during transport, something unexpectedly happened.

Just in front of them a robot attack occurred and damaged transport vessel which crashed near the North Space Base. Where was the ship headed anyway?

In the radius of 10km from the crash, strange radioactive cloud appeared which has created a portal, which had the power to move the time for 10 years to the past.

By moving through the portal everyone could travel into time of Project Entropia, where each would be able to taste the beginning of the planet colonization and visit the old towns like Port Atlantis, Hadesheim, Zychion, Old oilrig, Umbranoid town...

Why has this not happened?
Do it fo the money G

Lets just start a revolt. Peoples movement to get our old world back.

Readopt the old concept, restore the old feeling. Don't tell me it's impossible, i know it's possible.
I believe old and new can work together just fine, the new maffoid camp in Corinth area is a step in the right direction. But what has been done there is not enough.

Next step - all these "useless" unique landmarks, "useless" social interaction features, all those "useless" small details like ground shaking when probe was dropped nearby...

Baby steps by all means, but get going. This is the formula for success btw. ;)

I would do anything to be able to return to old PE.

The pink clouded areas, the acid pools, tp running noobs. 1k sweat for 12 PED.

Oh my god. Someone please shoot me in the head!

If only the team behind it were still with MA.

And don't forget the original beacon missions.

Shame EU now focuses on the grinding style of game play. The only time people grinded mobs before was to loot something specific. If you needed an item, you'd find out which mobs dropped it and then spend the next few weeks hunting those mobs and if you were in a good soc they would help out as well.

And if you were bored and no cash, you'd spend the night dancing on top of outposts or talking to other players in Camp Pheonix while sweating.

The soul of PE is gone it got ripped out by MA when they started to organise things for us rather than letting us get on with it.

For instance Sweat camp used to be Camp Pheonix then they added a turret and ruined the place. To replace it they added somewhere the mobs spawned right in front of you. The great thing about Camp Pheonix was that you'd probably get escorted there through Billys and learn some stuff along the way. See players selling stuff at the boxes and get to talk and discuss stuff with other players while waiting for the next mob train to appear.

Sadly, we’ll never see elements of the old days in Entropia Universe as it is now. This is all about progression and development and even if some of those old features would be introduced, it wouldn’t feel the same or have the same impact as it did back then.

Every player at every point in their ‘Entropia life’ will have different view on how things were when they started. Players starting 10, 8, 5 or 2 years etc ago joins the game at a certain point in the development and wouldn’t know any different.

I find it mind-boggling and hugely frustrating that many of the new developments introduced over the years has and continues to lessen the enjoyment of the game.

I for one would like to suggest a “Roll-back Month” or "Roll-back Server" or something like this. Allow people to experience Entropia as it was back in 2013 or 2014 for example, either indefinitely (on a separate server) or for a period of time. There must be a way to do this to cater for old and new avatars alike. I don’ t know. You get the idea.

But, we all adapt and find new ways to enjoy the game, even if it takes longer or costs more (or means we spend less time because of these things, which is a shame).

I’d take those CTDs, lag and crappier graphics – but trappable mobs, friendly mutants, old-style rig, easy (and cheap) skilling, cool music, mobs vs mobs, none of these damn enhancers/amplifiers, social systems etc – over the current system any day.

I might hop over for reasons of nostalgia, and discover that things are actually much better on Calypso as it is now.

I never really liked eudoria, donnu why, to much mobs everywhere i guess, but prefered Amethera. I would love to see a planet called old earth though.

That would be cool. The map being the Earth map, but of course, the cities look like nothing we know right now. Many destroyed as the bots invaded Earth as well, and the later meteors did the rest to wreck all we know... and all this happened AFTER global warming made sea levels rise three meters (thus reducing the amount of land they need to develop :D)
