Hello, I found Planet Calypso's website just this morning and this seems like a really cool experience; an MMO where all my items have monetary value and I could possibly make a profit from if I am clever enough. However, I am reluctant to try this because I'm under 18 (above 13) and I wonder if this game will be too much for me to handle. I'm also not willing to spend any real money on the game unless I've tried it first and I know that it will be either fun or profitable, or of course both If I can't make a profit then I'm happy with playing this for fun like any other MMO.
So I have 2 questions:
1. Is this a place for a teenager like me?
2. Will playing for free offer a good trial experience? (This is free to play, right?)
Thanks, this is my first post and I hope that this is an intelligent and polite community with people who will answer my questions happily.
Also, side question, I told my mother that it's optional to invest in this game to earn money, but the way she sees it, that's gambling... Some leverage to convince her otherwise would be nice
EDIT: Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I'll give it a shot. Sounds like it's a bit more of a gamble than I thought, trying to make a profit from this game. Sorry, I guess that was unfair to ask for help about the gambling thing. Still open to words of advice about what my first steps into the game will be like!
