Imperial Zoological Scouts report high levels of unrest among Mulmun mutant species throughout Calypso. The cause of the mutant frenzy is currently uncertain, though some IZS xenobiologists are speculating off the record that it may be somehow related to recent increased robot activity on the planet.

Colonists with militia duties are requested to report to the following locations to assist in protecting civilian settlements:

  • Port Atlantis - Mulmun Outcasts (LVL 14, Shared Loot)
  • Cape Corinth - Mulmun Outcasts-Bandits (LVL 14-17, Shared Loot)
  • Fort Ithaca - Mulmun Guards-Raiders (LVL 20-23)
  • Minopolis - Mulmun Berserkers-Hunters (LVL 25-30)
  • Chug's Hideout - Mulmun Hunters-Champions (LVL 30-35, Shared Loot)
  • Osere - Mulmun Champions-Clan Warlords (LVL 35-39, Shared Loot)
  • Boreas - Mulmun Clan Warlords-Elites (LVL 39-75)
  • Nymphtown - Mulmun Elites (LVL 75+)

It's way too much events!

But so far we got zero events for mining / craft !!!


Game is broken and to compensate the players not willing to invest more money into this broken casino they think that is good idea to come up with a event every weekend. What a lack of vision!

At least you could bring back the umbranoids...


Next weekend make; Easter mayhem + mulmun invasion + robot invasion + migration + WOF + 1 million HP shared mobs at Twins!

I ask if there are any other profession on Calypso besides hunting? :scratch2:
 
Pity, the charm of events is gone ... I'll just continue my usual business.

Convenient to launch a competing event with Arkadia when they could have done better by doing it next week instead.

This events is stealing peds from the regular loot pool isnt it? Or is that shit?

Either way from a gameplay perspective this is just yawnsome.. not to mention cynical from an economical perspective..

Interesting. We have beginnings of a robot event and now mulmun somehow linked to it. Looks to me as if it's partof a much b8gger event. We have easter holidays coming up so would be a good time to launch a proper event as it allows more to participate properly.
 
any1 care to share the actual location of the spawns ? flew around Boreas and Osere but could find any :(
 
Not again an event we've only had it for almost 2.5 years in a row.
Give the normal game some time and the normal loot.....:computer:

I don't get you people...
You whine when there are no updates/changes/events.
You whine the same when there is plenty happening...

It's silly to compare that event to MM, Spring Mayhem or WOF because there is no competition this time, no prized places.
Just a wave of mobs, a 'happening' event.
Nobody should feel 'forced' by any factor to join in.
Not your kind of fun? Skip it and do what you would do normally. Simple.

I think its great that there is a lot happening in game and I lose faith in mankind seeing so many whining for no reason.

I wouldn't be there anyway, so should I be stripped of event on Calypso?

Sometimes you have to chose and can't participate in everything, but don't be selfish and let others chose also.

Some people would only play during events so now they make events non-stop.

I don't understand what all the complaining is about. Let's assume you train everyday IRL. Instead of once or twice a year, your city suddenly begins holding fitness competitions every other week. You can continue training for personal satisfaction, but now you also have the option to challenge yourself further by entering one or all of these new competitions.

I've never noticed any loot change directly influenced by these in-game events. We all go through personal swings, for better or for worse. Yes, sometimes swings become more volatile or more stable. Regardless, the fact remains that at the end of the day, if you push through it, everything balances out in the long run. If you're hemorrhaging PED on a daily basis, you should look inward at your strategy and setup, rather than looking to point fingers at MA or the system.

I hope you guys had a chance to read some of Kestukas' long-winded posts before he deleted them.
 
In case anyone did not noticed, there will be (almost) weekly events now.

Better than 3 week long events... Sure I'll be bugged to go to a TP during weekend just to be attacked by large mobs, but lately Twin is like this with Kim spawning UCM for his beer money.

Ahem... daily hemorrhage is what keeps MA running. Only a few can profit, and many lose, and this is the system. With the loot capping on smaller mobs, you are guaranteed to lose daily without huge hofs or nice items, except maybe mining. A little perspective, not everyone is Level xxx.

I too would like to see some mindark backed mining /crafting events.

I second this. Calypso team should not hold events when other PPs are holding events. Especially when PPs can't have access to the same tools the Calypso team does.
 
instead of whining of the few,
it will be nice someone to put coordinates of spawns?
for those who like participating in events every day, every hour and every minute, 365 days of the year ;)
Locating the spawn it's somekind of a puzzle!

P.S. are planet partners asking or taking permission from Calypso team when they launching an event?
Why Calypso should be an exception for that?

I looked all around Osere and found nothing, anyone found any spawns for L35-L39?
