I think so too. But haven't seen an announcement on the upgrade.

Space seems a bit funny today with the lag and area unavailable. Ironically it was fine when calypso was suffering the lag, now the servers been changed space seems to be a tad fooked!
I wonder if they just swapped the space and Calypso server around

Wasn't the big hardware improvements the selling point of early 2013? What happened, servers croaked already?
Guess they were not brand new to begin with...

They said they performed major infrastructure upgrades 'to improve server capacity', they didnt actually say they improved server capacity at any major level back then...lets hope we are going to see this now as they start making use of the already majorily upgraded infrastructure which now can be stacked with racks/servers
