Can Gamasutra write about something else than just record amounts of money...?

Gamasutra is for people who are interested in technology about games and technical review are helpfull to make choices.
I never understood why MA choose this site to 'advertize' here. Maybe they want to attract planet partners ? Have new competitor ? Sell the platform ?
Advertizing should be toward gamers ie : MMO site, casino site, sci fi site, even music one since rocktropia etc..
Tractor PR is a waste of money for MA since so many years.

They pretty much do, write a sh*tton of stuff that has nothing to do with money.
But you only see Entropia related stuff here on Entropia related forums, mainly 'cause it's about this game and this newsbot is made to only post Entropia related stuff, so, don't judge it by what a specifically instructed bot posts on a very specific forum.

Maybe if they hire a youtuber like PewDiePie (who allready is famous for his videos on games) will work much better in PR campaigns....

Oh god i can't stand that [censored], good for advertising... yes, maybe, but do you know the watcherbase for that guy? Full of retards like himself, that's why he's so popular.

Gamasutra is highly quoted by other resources so it's a cheap way to pay once and get covered in dozens of places. That being said, indeed there are better ways to attract the target audience.

Its easy, they have a PR guy (traction PR) who writes an article, sends it off to gamasutra (who will print anything you send them if it relates to a game) and collects a check for his amazing advertizing efforts.

You know, I was thinking to myself last week how it's ironic that "stable" deeds are a risky investment at this point given the uncertainty of their return.
 
Why New Trainers? What if there's some Old Trainers among them?

And how did they find it out?
Checked the avatars of the buyers and nobody had Animal Taming or Pet Training unlocked?
Doubt that btw...

To me it sounds like getting rid of all the old animal tamers was an important achievement to be proud about. Well, kiddin ofc, i know the guy who wrote this has no idea what he was writing about but it does sound kinda funny.

I also want to B- (that's blood type be negative). But isn't this pet training in stables something completely new. How can somebody be 'old' in system not yet implemented in the game.

All areas so far are based on certain skills. If the new pet training in stables does not use any skills (or uses different skills than the Pet Training profession we have now), then yes, there's no connection and everybody starts from zero.

Yes, MA can always add some new skills, tools or special requirements for stable training if they so decide.
They can even go one step further and render all the old skills useless in this new area... but, why should they do that? There's nothing to gain but a lot to lose.

Perhaps I should be more specific: can they write articles about Entropia which do not focus on money alone. It is just bringing in more people who think they will get rich quick, get dissappointed and dis the place.

some youtubers have tried entropia.. none of them liked it.. mainly because its so unfinished and full of problems... or are u saying they should PAY the youtubers to tell lies about their product?.. one thing i hate most in the games is lag.. and stupid bugs.. but ive forgiven some games because they have been on early access.. but this game has been here for freaking 10+ years and has the same problems as early access indie games.. i would ragequit immediately if i was a new played and had to download 20g+ and most likely have tons of errors while installing the game and then it lagged like hell and crashed whenever 5 ppl on the radar

It's just a standard press release that gamasutra get from some other site that MA uses to send out their press releases.

In that case, maybe they just don't see Entropia all that interesting as a game, and only want the big headlines.

Brings back some memories, me running around as noob watching Miggobar in Angel and Pleat coat busy with Daiki,Exa and Snable Stalkers @ Twin Peaks Stable.

Inspired me to unlock those skills :silly2:
