I'm tired to get only 50 - 70% payback, since weeks and also after deposite.
Not one single run with profit!

I will stop to deposite for ever, if that not change! It would be the same for me to put out the window 50% of my cash, every time i play a bit eu. :mad:

This is not whining, just a fact at my payback!

I think you're supposed to leave the corpses on the ground until you get a perception skill gain and then go back and loot them all.

I don't believe that.

Either you do something very wrong (like using old school non maxed weapons) or do not log your returns and assess them after hunt based on some single factor, or you count MU of expensive items towards this returns.

Do proper log - how much decay, how much ammo bought, how much ammo left, how much loot.

I guarantee you that tt return is around 90% on average, with rare hunt at 60% or 130%.
This is supported by over 3 years of my logs as well as by other people who do take a minute after hunt to make a proper log.

i would love to see 90% LOLZ!!!

I dont need to report that, i just see that every run is much less as 90%, since weeks. also a log can't change that fact.

Oh, and no much MU and no items in loot except maybe the 1 ped weapons. (2 of this)

And no, i dont use old school weapons, i use maxed L stuff, and my skills are far away of noob.

I also would not write this thread, if it not is a truth that i get much less as 90%, also in long term and after cycle 100k ped in ammo.

Well it's quite easy.

MA nerfed. So you need to nerf your mob selection.

If you used to hunt Atrox OA - Stalker by decent returns. You now have to bump down to Young - old for decent returns.

So many hunts when you do 2k ammo runs and get 1k loot back. Then the decay costs come into place.
which may put u down towards 40 %.

Think Kim also stated a while back

Loot algorythm don't support High level big HP mobs. It screws it up.
Loot algorythm don't support this wast Universe we have gotten. It screws it up.

Reason why I'm suggesting to do log is simple, you can't correctly assess return, especially average long term one by just dumping loot to tt and comparing to ammo bought.
Trust me on this one as I was doing the exactly same before starting proper logging. I used to believe in my very bad returns as well until I saw it black on white in my excel files.
It is a eye opener and two of my ingame friends done logs as well after my suggestion and it stopped them repeating this nonsense low 50% returns after each hunt ;)

90% is definitely not a lie, you just need to log hunts for few mo9nths to see average around that.
Lucky guys have better than 90% tt ;)
 
If you don't share specifics, you won't get useful answers.

For starters:

1) what weapon, armor and faps do you use
2) what are your cost breakdowns per run
3) how many ped is a run
4) what mobs do you hunt

As Teiwaz said, without logs, people can't help you... or even believe that your impressions are accurate.

Why i need to log, when every run is less as 90% and i mean every run! Since weeks! AND NO GOODIES IN LOOT!
I just see my peds fly away like a leaf in the wind! I never got that bad since 9 years play PE/EU.

So no more depo from my site, still that change! thats a fact!
 
I'm with you on this... all of my big mob hunts have produced less than 40% return on all except 1 or 2 runs this week. I wanted to finish one of my Proteron Iron missions (which I did at a severe loss). I'm also hunting with proper eco/level gear. I've played for 11 years and I'm a high skilled player, so I'm well aware of how to hunt. Loot is just god awful lately.

I cycled thousands and thousands of PEDs yesterday to collect a large number Proteron points, and I didn't see even a small global until right before I finished. Now, I haven't played much in the last year or so, but this would not have been the case the last time I was hunting a lot (40% return on average).

After I was done, I finally moved mobs in hopes of seeing a loot swing. Didn't see ANY change. Aurli were awful, Araneatrox were awful, Proteron were awful, etc etc. Big mobs are jacked up.

There is nothing better than seeing 50% TT return in the terminal window BEFORE repairing. This has been the case nearly all week.

Wild guess:
Friday, around 12:00 MA time, there will be a 127k ped ATH from a feffox Queen. And somewhere from now to sunday 24:00, a 75k mining ATH, not un likely on Toulan or in Cyrene lootable pvp. A few bigger crafting HOFs, possibly from a (L) BP for a repairable item (new discoveries).

500 PED of ammo + 100 PED of repair per run... 600 PED needed to even out. 540 PED for this supposed 90% break point. Most of my runs saw about 300 PED in TT return, with the repairs sends me to 200 PED per run out out of 600 spent. This is actually about 30% return, so I take back what I said about 40%. While I don't have specific numbers for every run, this is what I have seen on most of my runs, give or take a few PED. I had 2 runs that were just above even, and one run that was almost exaclt even. The rest have been horrifyingly bad. I got 2 HOFs (700 PED and 400 PED) this week, and that's all. These two small HOFs were not nearly enough to offset my total loss of PEDs. My PED card went from nice and squishy to dry and cracked.

Let me ask you as well... do you log your hunts?

Did you noticed you calculate repairs twice??
first you add 100 ped repair to get 600 ped total spent, then from 300 ped loot you substract 100 ped repairs and compare to 600 ped spent...
No wonder you get some unreal low numbers with that kind of approach.... log it man and you will admit how wrong you are....



I challenge any of you to do following:
- setup Twitch account and stream hunt
- at beginning show all used gear tt values and ammo bought tt value
- stream whole hunt
- at the end show all tt values of gear, remaining ammo tt value, loot tt value

I can guarantee you will have 80-90% return, small chance of 60-80% or 90-120%.
You do it enough times then average will be around 90%.

Any takers?

If you don't want to log or show other people your returns by streaming then what is the point of repeating about your perception of low returns? Hoping that MA will send ATH your way to change your mind?

near everything from puny to uber mobs, since i try to find other mobs pay a bit better. And I also do mining, but mining get near the same bad returns. So no matter what I hunt or do, it ends in a hug ped los.

Is it per run?

At least 100 ped?

At least 1 hour?

Slot machines in a casino have a fixed return rate but that doesn't mean everyone will see that return.

After 9 years, a ath would be much welcome and after all my hug loses, your right with that ! :) Oh and sure this would make my 50-70% payback to be 90% ....

Yes, I log them, by visually tracking my card. I spend the exact same amount of PED every hunt, and I don't need to track anything when EVERY run I see 300 PED in my TT values and 100 PED in repairs. There has been almost ZERO divergence from this constant. My PED card has steadily lost 300-400 PED per run the last 3-4 days.

Now, I have done logs before, in the past. When loots varied a lot, and were not this bad. You can question my integrity all you want, but I've played this game since beta. I know when I'm losing a lot of PED. Never once in my life, logged or not, have I seen a steady 90% EXCEPT ONCE.

Around 90% long term average, meaning over long period of many hunts.
100 PED per hunt can be a lot or nothing, depending what mobs you hunt. What matters is a number of loot actions.
If you spend 100 ped to kill 2 mobs then you have 2 loot actions that can result with very bad loot or very good one. But overall with 2 mobs killed you have lower chance to even out this good/bad luck loot.
If you spend 100 ped on killing several hundred of small mobs, then you have much higher chance to even out to around 90%.

Hope it is clearer now.
 
Kill 2000 mobs of a single kind, you will have around 90+% return if you're not using stupid equipment or hunting above your level, or wasting peds unnecessarily in any other way.
 
Say you have 50 to 70% even 90% tt? Too small sample size. It's higher than that.

Sounds to me you need to look hard at your setup and adjust.
