Inspired by this thread: https://www.planetcalypsoforum.com/forums/showthread.php?267011-The-1PED-incremental-hunting-ladder I am starting a log about my activity in EU.
The goal is to analyze how far I can go with only income from CLDs, and especially how many CLDs I need to continue playing at that level.

To do this I start with extremly downgraded hunting, but will also include other activity (mining and crafting).

I track total money spent, and all loots. I will also track markup collected out of these loots.

After each session I will also give an information about sellability of my loots.

Decided against counting trades into turnover, gives some false data.
Will only track the really cycled PED, to analyze returns.

What I still will do is tracking the markups paid and auction fees. This will only effect result including markups, not the TT value return side.

Maybe will add some other values to show overall economy of my playstyle.
I will not reveal how many CLDs I own.
Even if I manage to play at CLD income only, I will not stop depositing.
I will deposit at least 10 Euro/month, consider that as monthly fee to help MA/EU to survive.
The deposited PED very likely will be safed untill its enough to buy CLD, maybe I will have other ideas what to do with it in the future. Depends on success of this experiment aswell.

I began with the punys yesterday and ended the day with a huuuuge profit of three ped after cycling thirty PED of ammo.

I noticed that hunting puny mobs takes care of the stack problem as they loot nothing but sharpnel, ammo, bones
, fragments and the occasionall rubio.

I guess that after the first hundred PED or so you could take a look in storage and guess the distribution on stacks and predict how long you need to stay with the same mob types . For punys, I will be able to quit at any given 1000 mob interval as the bone samples are the only loot that needs quite a stack to sell.

Subscribing to this as I'm very curious about it working. Gl with it!

To start next run, I converted 12 PED of shrapnels into Uni Ammo, I track that as MU collected 101% = 0.12 PED

Noticed that tracking the crafts and trades, could become a little difficult.

My original idea, was to include all trades into cycled PED, but thats a bad idea. So I canceld that. (First post updated).

Now I will add not used materials I bought for crafting to stored loots not sold, but don´t count it into total turnover.
I will count the paid markups for it, as cost, same as refiner costs, that will reduce my total return including markups and fees (auction).

Didn´t think that all this could become that complicated :D

Its really easy to track hunts and mining runs.
The problem at the moment was, that I used less than half of the stack I bought, but there was no smaller stack available at reasonable MU. :D

Note the MU down and throw it inside a container so you don't mix it with your other stackables. That should be the easiest way. Simple as this:

-10000 oil bought at 103% which is 206.00 PED
-You use up 2500 of it
-Put 51.25 PED of oil into your input on the current run and store the rest

After this you got two options: Either you use it up/put stacks in line or use the average of your purchases. Say you do 10000 clicks the next time, so you need to buy at least another 2500 oil but now oil costs 102%. Then you could add 7500@103% AND 2500@102%.

So the second option would be that you buy another 10 000 oil at 102% which costs you 204.00PED. By adding it up with your old oil, you get a total of 17 500 oil which has costed you (204+(206-51.25)) 358.75PED. Calculate your new average markup and go with that. In this case it would be about 102.4%.

Already got a lots of containers.
Such comon things like oil, basic leather extracters, generic leather --- no please not more containers

Beside that it could happen, that I sell exactly that unused items to raise some PED.
And I don´t want tons of notes, when I bought what at what MU.

Lol, people trying to get rid of containers? I'd definately welcome them. My storage is a mess :D

Trade:
bought material 83,93 -> to storage
in Storage: 193,52 PED
MU paid: 8,85 PED
Refiner decay: 0,10
auctioned: 30,24 PED - pending
auction fee: 0,58 PED

Run 5: daily craft
37 attempts - Finder F-101

TT input: 39,59 (out of storage)
Return TT: 27,53
Result: -12,06 PED
Return %: ~69,69%

TTed: 12,76 PED (Finder F-101´s)
Stored: 14,79 PED

Total at storage: 168,72

2 daily token received

Sidenote:
Doing such small crafts is stupid, I know, did it anyways
TTed the finders, because auction is full with it at BOs less than +1, very unlikely to sell it.
Waste of fee, although it could make back some PED if it sells, better TT it. Its crap anyways.

I agree that recording mining and hunting is easy, i have always found crafting cumbersome when recording. When i was doing small bits here and there i just used entropiauniverse items, and noted down total ped value, before and after. Doesn't help with markup, but helps with tt results (one thing to remember though if you use this, Entropiauniverse items does not account for ped card, although i am sure you know that already).

Just food for thought

Additionally used weapons: Opallo + A101, Laconian Sword
Jumped into Daiki Wave spawn, did first few stages solo, then someone joined in - continued to wave 8 Stalkers, and run out of ammo (no big gun or armor with me, so I had to leave anyways)

Loot stored: 179,26 PED

Stopping the project in actual form here.

Why?

Tracking all the trades and markups is a pain for me, don´t like to continue that.
Last night I did a lot PvP trading, and auctioned a lot things.
Beside that I got lots items stocked for crafting, I bought a while back, not used yet.
Using this items will result in inaccurate MU data, as I can´t remember what MU I originally paid for that.
Seperating the new loots from older loots, I had in storage befor this project started is another problem.
Building nice stacks to collect MU from only new loots? What about selling all at once (what makes sense), this will result in inaccurate data about MU collected.

Its just a pain. Checked my items at entropia page, and hell above 1.2k items.
Seperating all that from what I loot after starting the project, really bad idea.
Especially for craft runs its a pain to track the MU, as in most cases not all materials bought will be used, the remains staying at storage untill further use, often increased by more material looted by myself or bought at different MU. To much work, I am lazy ;)

Think about restarting this project on pure TT returns, thats easy to track.

@Mod: please close that thread, ty
