Lately I have been appalled by the sheer absence of communication from developers, therefore a simple poll to see the view of the community.

By 'lately' you mean for the past 10 years right ?

I only want more communication if whats being communicated is accurate and reliable information.

As I said before when people were saying how much the communication had improved, 'it comes in waves, like the loot'. Personally I have more of an issue with Support these days, or lack of it.

it does come in waves, which I never get. They pump out some Dev. notes and Kim responds here and there, and then bam - radio silence for 1-2 months. I'd say it's better than ever in the last year, but is so far from satisfactory. I get e-mails from Ark almost every week - that is more the type of thing I'd like to see. I guess I didn't depo enough this month to craft some e-mails..............................

Would removing all the MU from your loot and replacing it with more TT garbage be one of those upcoming major changes they communicated about?

Unfortunately the Calypso devs communicate very rarely. We all know which dev team communicates the best!

I'm Ark account and I have very bad experience from their support (not forum)!!!!
So don't brag for 'em!!! made it so obvious you have "special interest"

Since this question is about CF I voted yes.
There is no reason for the dev's to chit-chat in here.
If they have something to tell they posted in the right time.

Yep, the cyrene team :)

I dont recall prior notification of that change, but on the upside, they never told us about the implementation of skill boosts before they happened.

They do like to surprise us - first time we saw vehicles was when some Hummers suddently turned up at Twin Peaks, same with Quads flying over Port Atlantis... :)

Let's wait for Smilgs November update as he is currently the only one who logs and shares a big enough sample size to draw any kind of conclusions.

OnT: I voted Yes just to piss OP off (partly because I am satisfied with it but that comes second).

If OP and his likes wasn't busy hunting every official post down and replying to them whining and flaming they perhaps would be happier to post.

:dunce:

To help clear up what I had in mind regarding the question for the poll with some example threads where I could easily have expected a developer/community manager to post, whether it is a simple "sorry can not give an answer to that due to the nature of the game" or "Mindarks POV is XY, because so and so".

I would have gladly seen a post from Mindark/Calypso to any of the above threads, to me it is sad that they do not.

Cheers,

i've voted "Yes"
-> I have enough infos when I need it from dev team
-> more time to chitchat = less time to dev...
-> dev things themselves are not customers business, BUT, progress states and some Teasing is always good, as some surprises that only dev team know about in order to make some sort of "surprise effect"

this was my own opinion of course^^
