What's Under the Veil?

No, this is an anti-pirate ship, where only nice players can use.

The ship is invincible = you can not be looted. (since lootable space is a scam).
 
It's a new fighter I can see it clear I hope is (L) so we can all have one

A spacehip that can actually go faster than the speed limit on our street.

There's no need really, it's clearly a render and not a screenshot - see that planet and space instead of the blue shimmering portal, also clarity of the remote details is way beyond of what can be achieved in game on all max settings.

Looking at the photo, clearly the craft has the hull style of a Quad-Wing, at least similar. Obviously its not a large transport ship like a Privateer or Mothership. If MindArk were creating a new (L) ship, they wouldnt do a news release to the player base I think.

My guess is that its an unlimited attack ship thats stronger and faster than a quad but will require SI improvements much like Privateers and Motherships. Perhaps it will be warp capable.

The pirate with the biggest pocketbook will now become the strongest pirate... as it should be... or maybe a pirate hunter will upgrade to the strongest one.

So if my guess is right, any Privateer or Mothership owner who has invested a significant amount of ped in Structural Integrity upgrades should be happy right now because this would justify and add value to that investment.

My guess would be a new version of the Quad.

I think it has to do with Developer notes #10.

"In a subsequent Version Update, transport missions will be made available that can be claimed by spaceship pilots via a queue system that incorporates the available transport fee pool, pilot skills, time limitations, and ship cargo capacities."

I´m guessing that normal Quadwing/sleipnir can not perform the transport missions above. So you need this new "Quadwing transportship" to do these missions.
 
Its a normal quad with an added cargo area upgrade in the back so anyone can haul cargo....duh.
 
I doubt it is unlimited. Could very well be a cargo type QUAD. Only event prizes will be unlimited.
If it is to be used for the cargo system then you may be right that it has better SI and speed.

The anti mothership bomber and the deep space intercepted were from Therion Wars, so unless they bought that design from them I don't think it will show up since that planet seems DBA.. Dead before arrival. :)
 
It's forms is too different to be a remake of a Quad, it's a other type a small ship.
 
It is New Blueprint which will allow you to craft nice Quad Tents, which you can clearly see at the picture.

No one will craft it, tho. Why?

Recipe:

90x Star Dust
45x Big Daddy's Nut Potion
30x Boar Head
1x Brain of any Nebula Virus member

The problem is in the last item, no one saw those. Maybe will be introduced with upcoming VU, who knows.

I'm not currently ingame, but isn't there ususally a quad parked at that location? Looking at the Picture, it looks like someone has just put a blanket over it :laugh:

As for new ship, I Think it is something coming on the way; arkadia has mentioned for a long time mentioned something called "dropship".

Didnt read all replies (might been already said), but also can be the Cyrene Quad Wing version. Some of you might seen one in the Cyrene Proving Grounds HUB.

No panic ppl,

it is just my new mining finder. it content new tech from Akbal. it is specialised to find only towers, have a radius of 4km and the deep is 10 000 metre... it use 10 ped probes per drop.

Not that big difference, since wings have similar shape, position of tip of winglets and
fins/rudders are the same more or less. Same with fuselage and cockpit. ;)
So probably a new ship, but still some resemblance with Quads (imo). ;)
