What's Under the Veil?

wow so we have 3 days until new spacecraft launch :)

Ok all, anyone want to crack this?

(MA just posted this)

Someone who has some time, make a transcript of the code, and chuck it in here: http://www.binarytranslator.com/

Edit: I confess, I am too late. This translation was given in youtube too (allthough it wouldn't hurt to verify correctness of it. If it is indeed correct, something should be happening around now.

More like 3 hours, and they already passed. Hope Pilot Yeager didn't blow himself up :cool:

He never made it out of the spaceport bar :eyecrazy::shots::dj::beerchug:

If he is still waiting for that first beer, it might indeed take a while....

Its a rocket-powered aircraft the name will probably be Bell X1
nicknamed "Glamorous Glennis

Regarding the phrase !%/"(iukjk%€#! i find the 2 ! curious, maybe they are "message/cords"
some roman/caesar cipher can decode perhaps ?

I just typed it out.

Secret phrase: !%/"(iukjk%€#! = 12 letters if ! presumely changed to "
password phrase: Bozeman test = 12 letters also.

or password phrase: 02:52:34:986 :)

maybe shift the encrypted text the amount of letter weight in the second phrase.?

Or... that perticular binary code should be reversed ?

I'm thinking we're not meant to decode that part... like static that blocks out the critical part of the message. Test of what?

That's what I think. "!%/"(iukjk%€#! is a placeholder for the name of the ship, which MA doesn't want to reveal yet. It's clearly just a quick random typing (2 groups of adjacent buttons - iukj and shift-12345).

US keyboard is different so I didn't notice that.

Yes, if it is random typing by MA and we still manage to somehow decipher it to te correct name of that ship wouldn't that be something:computer:

Yeah it seems so, i have tried many cipher decryptors, only get jiddish :)
I was hoping for some secret cordinate or something where one could loot a ship deed ;D

What's under the veil?

Reports have surfaced of strange activity by Intercolonial Transport Authority (ITA) officials at an undisclosed space station. The image above, leaked from the space station's internal security matrix, shows an ITA inspector examining an unknown small-hulled spacecraft.

Attempts by station pilots and crew to gain more information about the mysterious vessel were met with gruff silence and a cordon by the ITA. The lack of official information has led to wild speculation over what could be hidden beneath the veil.

there is no such data type as 0002202 , maby 2 =1 , maby 0=1 and 2=0 . but that is time to guess here ...

sicnce it is still in binary columns, maby somehow it should be but idk

Being a bunch of twos would suggest a base 3 system. For instance:

2 = 2
22 = 11
202 = 56

Etc.
