Hey Hypnotyk, which case is that? Clearly a Cooler Master - looks similar to my HAF-X, but it's a little different.

Too lazy to take pictures right now, and some of my stuff needs updating, but here goes:

Motherboard: EVGA x58 Classified

CPU: i7 950 3.06 (OC to 3.20) - Yeah my mobo and CPU are a bit dated.

Cooler:
ASETEK 550LC (apparently the same unit as the Corsair H50 - Corsair rebranded it)

GPU: EVGA GTX 780 3 GB

RAM (Memory @ speed): 16GB Corsair PC1600

HDD: Boot - Samsung Pro 840 256GB; Data - 1TB HDD

Case: Cooler Master HAF X

PSU: Corsair HX850

Monitor(s): LG 23" 1080p or my 51" TV depending on what I'm doing
:silly2:

Mouse: Logitech G9x

Keyboard: Logitech K800

Motherboard: Alienware 18 laptop

CPU: Intel I7 4800MQ cpu 2.70ghz

GPU: DUAL NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770M Cards (2x)

RAM (Memory @ speed): 32gb Dual Channel DDR3L at 1600MHz

HDD: 512GB SSD

Case: Alienware 18 laptop

Monitor(s): 18" laptop HD or the 60" 3d plasma HD....the gpu's push the 3d games like Crysis well.

Mouse: G600 Gaming mouse

Keyboard: Laptop, but has fully programmable and customizable lighting for all keys/zones/modes.
Internet: 100/100mbit

HDMI out and IN.....it is my mobile Xbox monitor as well.

edit, was asked... was purchased in 2013 with Entropia money..at that time it was outdoing asus.
I am sure there is better now. :)

What sort of fps do people get with these specs?

I've got a 2 year old high end gaming laptop and it get 10fps....either something is wrong with the laptop or this needs game needs some serious power.

I'm thinking about buying something new...maybe a portable desktop, but want to ensure it plays this game with full settings and with high FPS even with a lot of players. Any idea? Do I need double or triple high end GPU's?

What are the specs of your laptop. Processor, ram, gpu, etc..... :) Name brand.

Entropia doesn't utilize SLI/xfire so get one big card (900 series GTX are sick!)

I typically run 45 fps or so, evne when streaming

Built this baby in late November to replace my 6 years old Mac Pro (8-core Xeon, GTX285), which still was good for anything but Entropia (30 fps in BF4, 15 in EU) and no way to find a modern compatible gfx (macs need a special ROM on a gfx card for OS X drivers to see it, can't just throw in a random PC card even if it fits). Hopefully I'm all set for the next 3-4 years unless MA rolls out a new engine :)

MB: ASUS X99-DELUXE

CPU: i7-5930K @ 4.5 Ghz (undervolted! => cold; 24h+ prime95 stable)

Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 (single fan; 2nd one doesn't fit and isn't really needed)

GPU: ASUS GTX980 Strix 4Gb

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32Gb 2800Mhz quad-channel ddr4 @ 3200Mhz

SSD: 2 x 256Gb SSD Samsung 850 Pro in raid0 for software
HDD: 3 x 3Tb Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 for data

Case: Silverstone Fortress FT02B (best air-cooling case ever; hence Noctua and not water)

PSU: 1000W SeaSonic SS-1000XP (planned for SLI but there's no any need for that in near future)

Monitor(s): 27" AOC Q2770Pqu (iMac 27" as the 2nd when it's not in use as a mac)

Mouse: Logitech G5 (7 years old! love it)

Keyboard: Corsair Vengeance K65 (mechanic numpad-less)

Network: 80/40mbit fiber, 40ms to MA servers - the most important part, in my book :D

FPS in EU is 90-120 on 2560x1440 @ very high, depending on location (doesn't matter much as the monitors are 60hz and can't display more than 60 fps anyway). During the LT stress test the fps was ~20 but still playable.

I dont play entropia anymore other then standing around spamming in #trade chat, but I still have my personal computer.

I did some modifications on my VisionX 420D;

Threw out the 8GB Ram, and put in 16GB Kingston Ram CL11. (Its not on memory list so I hope god will have mercy on me)
Threw out the Intel i5 4200M, and put in Intel i7-4800MQ.
For now Im taking my old Crucial M4 CT256M4SSD2 and WD WD20NPVT 2TB from VisionX 321B, and putting it in the new VisionX 420D.

PS.
My newest toy, 21.5" Touch screen for desktop by Acer.
(yes, its just as good and fun as the onces on the new ultrabooks)

PS PS. pasta from old thread :)

My setup is a bit dated buy still runs well enough

Motherboard: Asus M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 (liked the ACC efature to unlock more cores and has decent OC ability)

CPU: AMD 555 BE OCed to 3.5 on both cores (tried to unlock the other 2 but got lots of artifacting)

Cooler: Nothing special just a copper heatpipe based cooler rather than the stock box one

GPU: EVGA GForce 750Ti 2GB

RAM (Memory @ speed): 2x4 gig Gskil Ripjaws at 1333 MHz (9,9,9,24)

HDD: 3x WD Black edition 1TB no RAID setup just massive storage

Case: I forget what it is but LOTS of fan spots (2x 120 front, 120 rear, 120 bottom, 140 top and 240 side) Kee[s everything running nice and cool with that much air flow

Monitor(s): Just an old ASUS 22" 1080P running on HDMI atm.

Mouse: Logitech M510 wireless (cheap but effective laser mouse)

Keyboard: ROCCAT Isku illuminated gaming KB (wish it was mechanical tho)

Overall time for an upgrade but this one still works pretty well for the time being. Maybe time to upgrade this year but need to do a lot more research on the new components I want not to mention figuring out what OS i want to run. Might be waiting until windows 10 comes out.

Uber pc's :S

If anyone "throws" his graphic card, i might be interested in one :D
Or a CPU too might be interesting

yes yes i can always pay for it :silly2:
