Thank you Thank you. Last night I loss 70 PED on the Zombie Kong but
Tonight when I arrived he was already at 1/4 health so I shot 6 PED into him and
Booooom we hit the #2 ATH. My Only regret is that I didn't arrive earlier.

No, that's the v1 KONG, the one now (v2 Kong) has less hp, the current L1119 THING is a reskin of the v1 KONG so it has that much hp now.

They will share their story with all who will listen how they looted $20,000 from KING KONG!

Thanks to Universal Studios for partnering with us and allowing us to start a new Chapter in the Story of KING KONG!

We are just warming up here, collect the King Kong map fragments to discover the secret of King Kong! And please share all your Kong Adventures on your social media so we can let the rest of the world know how much fun you are having!!!

2017 indeed, thanks... Plenty of time to Hunt KING KONG in EU while u wait for the movie.
 
Why every time I'm on those Kong, it gives only small hofs ? :D

Gratz guys, I kept saying that Kong would give something as big as him :cool:
 
Yes, massive GZ to all! So sad I missed it...but so happy to see it finally hit!

To those that dont understand:

Kong v1 was 450k hp. It doesn't exist in Kong form anymore...That is what the L1119 Thing is now. 1500 ped to kill. They are rarer than the Kong v2. One hit for 70k a few months ago. The other few big (20-30k) Kongs were V1 also.

Kong v2 is 145k hp. Roughly 500 ped to kill. This is the Kong you see globalling or hoffing a lot anywhere from 75-550 ped. There have been MANY of these killed. Many. They have hit 2k a lot and hit 10k occasionally. Today was the ONE and ONLY (a previous post mistated the amount of Kong ath's) ATH on Kong himself...SO FAR :D

A hell of a lot have been killed. 50-75% dont show up in your chat because they aren't hofs, and way less than half those globals actually get tracked, because EL rarely is tracking on RT. I hunt ALL shared all the time I can, on all planets, and the loot is exactly as fair (or unfair sometimes) as any other shared loot mob.

Would be great if RT Devs could set up dummy avatars with EL running like they did on Arkadia. Would help promoting the planet and the Kong. May I remind people that this was only a 400x multiplier? It is essentially like hitting a 16PED puny mob (my personal best is 17). The potential is huge and we might be seeing the first 1M PED ath soon.

Even though I disliked RT (and not been shy about it) I will most likely start participating in these soon enough (unless ND banned me).

Gratz to the lucky ones.

This still will not draw me to those foolish large Shared Loot mobs as grinder mobs. I have never and I repeat never ever broken even or even 1/2 the amount of loot back from hunting one of those large shared loot mobs. They are a complete ped loss for me and I have sworn off them forever, I was even on a 20k looter once and I got only a few muscle oil, others around me looted tons of items and I totally got shit, that one I even spent about 100ped in ammo plus lots of decay on my largest damage weapon I owned helping to kill.

Large shared loot mobs like this are not what they are advertised to be so be cautious to the false attraction they create. I relate them to the 10 dollar slot machines in casino's with progression jackpots, people are drawn to them but in the end more people loose more then the few who actually win something. I seem to always be in the group that just looses more.

Yes it is a gamble in every sense of the word. However, I found to almost always be close to / break even when I hunt them. Granted I'm not top DPS pumping a ton of PED, but I did contribute with 100 DPS when I had my ranked scorp and did fairly well. As for those days when I lost my ass, I seem to always balance out in the end once a nice 5 digit + HOF pops. For example, I was fortunate to be part of the previous ATH kong and got almost 5k in loot. It covered any losses I had on shared loot mobs and still made profit in the end. It's very much a luck and endurance game with these mobs.. can you hunt enough until the big one pops or do you walk away broke. Keep in mind If I did the same % damage to the last kong (I wasn't there but figuratively) with 200K ATH, I wouldve received somewhere around 18-19K ped.. ;_;

Rule #1 for casino goers, never play progressive slots. You're better off dragging your testicles through barbed wire covered in salt. :laugh:

I agree with this shared loot crap, it's a huge money maker for MA. I used to hunt Quasar (granted he wasn't shared, but he was a huge HP boss) with a group of 4 north of the crater, all around the same DPS. But even with us each getting equal loot, we never once came close to breaking even. These boss mobs are a rip off.

Gratz on this one though, but anyone who hunts Kong for the next 6 months is foolish :laugh:

Amazing, GRATZ!!

God I wish I wasn't sleeping. Why does the majority of KONGs have to go down when I'm sleeping :(
At least I was in the 2k PED HOF few hours before, which was nice :)

most of rocktropians are from USA so from europians point of view kong is usually spawned at night or late night.
and im so happy that this very special night i was there to the end and became a part of that epic ATH.:yay:


I hope more ppl from europe became rocktropians soon that i dont have to choose between sleep or kong:)
