Mind Reaver​

Description

This creature was once highly evolved and intelligent. Sadly, neural decay has had a horrible effect on its mind. It is now a savage, violent brute incapable of rational thought.

The neural decay is most likely an effect of prolonged stasis hibernation. The decay pattern and trace radiation in their bodies seem consistent with early human stasis tests.

There is no way to know how long the creature has been in stasis. More exact analysis of the radioactive isotope used to create the stasis field could perhaps be used to get a better idea of how much time has passed. This would require more advanced equipment than a combat scanner, though.

I've heard that Polaris is a good armor for these guys. Do you use any plates with that armor?
 
How does one find these guys?

I have run about the cave near the volcano and only found Thoro's etc - killed a boss chap after a nice chat with him, but cant find any steps that go down lower, to where I think these guys are??

Am I running about the wrong place?
