Some plan of what is coming

Hello dear devs & management

not so long ago (start of 2014 and during) you were coming with:
  • plans of what is going to happen
  • developer notes explaining why things are as they are
yea there was a lot of discussion about it but in general it was seen as an improvement​

Recently we have been getting:
  • drastic loot system changes - shrapnel's, all mob maturities same loot, explosive bps
  • 3 month long events which are still running - the 3 month + robot event, mayhem was sort of like winter-spring-autumn-winter?
  • no developer notes
  • no planning


could you please come up with a planning, stop the nonstop events, provide some developer update?

I think I'll have to totally agree on this one.
 
Some transparency would be great. I'm almost afraid to make any big investments in game with the rate of random/unannounced changes being made.

Not that all of the changes have been bad, but it would be nice to see them coming, or have a game plan.

I suspect the response is keep depositing. They must be high fiving with the success of the explosive bps.

Possible Roadmap

General steps:
1. Introducing of Mining Shrapnel (might be implemented as ore Noresourcite and enmatter Empty Water), which can be converted to Survey Probes in 101% conversion ratio
2. Vehicles with moving decay and weight limits for all vehicles.
3. Black Holes in Space with looting-all-items-including-PED's function
4. Casino terminal
5. Endless Events everywhere
6. Explosive Projectiles BP's IX, XI, XIII (200, 2000, 20000 PED per click)
Misc:
1. A lot of unusable tools for pets (like Shampoo, etc) with different buffs... like 'red face', 'ugly legs' with decreasing attributes, but increasing skillgains.
2. Automatic colorator/texturizer tool for easy skilling (craft-machine interface)
3. Emotes for Avatar - drunk, drugged delirium

This game was shitload more interesting in 2004 when hardly anyone knew jack, when MA told us NOTHING, and the COMMUNITY worked stuff out together.

Why bother at all ? There is only one real dev.notes + road map + plan & comment in one. Its name is.....annual report and MA have to public it no matter what. Not holding my breath for anything else coming out of those amateurs mouth.

I totally disagree with this one. They always do this shit of put out a roadmap or dev. notes or bla bla how they are going to keep updated and then poof.... nothing for months. It's like they are ME or something. Ambition to do something then in 2 weeks you stop doing it totally.

I don't think it's being spoon fed - I think we put a shit ton of money into this game and we would like some type of weekly or AT LEAST monthly contact. I get more info from a ton of other games that I spent $20 bucks on.

It's not even the problem that they do it... it's that they continue to do it time after time, year after year and nothing changes. I don't think anything ever will until someone buys out the company - which is pretty much what I hope for every single day.

FYI they told us alot more back in 2004, they logged in game and answare mostly every week.
but most of all they had a IRC channel with atleast 2 workers all the time answare day as night.
Lars and Marco was really active on IRC.

you got a point there, but back then we still had MU in loot and nobody cared.

MA reminds me of a gf with whom i had an on/off relationship for a long time. Finally, I realized that the reason it would go off after it was on was because she constantly failed to do what she said she would do. We had been friends for so long by that time and had shared a lot of tragedy and triumph in each other's lives, that I was looking for reasons to make it work, but in the end I realized that I didn't even care that she was lousy at a lot of things (because everyone has their strengths and weaknesses and I'm definitely no exception). No, what really made the relationship untenable was that she lied about her actions and misrepresented herself over and over.

Lest this post seem too serious, I will end by saying the other way MA reminds me of her is the fact that they take all my money. :laugh:

I would not be surprised if 4 of 9 of these suggestions were implemented. :p
