Question: Milking tamed creatures?

Seems there is an option to extract some kind of new essence from the tamed creatures now. Was not able to do it on a daiki, has anyone tried this yet, and what is the product that comes out?
 
1) Go to a stable and use the terminal there.
2) Choose "Extract" (or whatever it's called, writing this from memory).
3) Drag-and-drop the selected pet to the square.
4) Pet is destroyed, you receive "Animal Essence" (and if lucky "Rare Animal Essence, seems different pets have different chance to give it).
5) Essence can later be used to upgrade pets with abilities (for example, the Corinth Kanin can give speed boost).
 
Tried it on a panther and got .02 ped animal essence
 
Ah , interesting, didn't realize it destroys the pet, good to know!
 
Ancient pet are not destroyable
 
OK, so seems this new development encourages taming a bunch of low level pets and then recycle them for juice...not a bad idea from MA in terms of increasing activity and whip decay:)

It seems to be somewhat random (though I am sure certain mobs give more than others on average)... got 1-3 essence from a bunch of Bristlehog Puny.

Also makes sure the market gets less saturated + gives some bonus for skilling on smaller ones :)
 
it seems that the rare pet might get better odds at rare essence.

Next Panther same lvl 1, Energy 0.0, Experience 0.0 > 0.01

And the next 0.02

Seems dynamic uhm random :whip:
 
I wonder if higher maturity pets, once tamable, will provide better juice quantities...
 
well the odds are displayed. for normal pet it is "very low"...

From a thread on arkadia forum seems like the animal essence from putting pets in the meat grinder are kind like Energised fertiliser for stables. Allowing stable owners to put buffs in terminals for 30 days.
 
Oh the horror.. how can you justify sacrificing your loveable pets for these essences?! Someone call PETA... you are all murderers!
 
Step 1: Whip an animal (or lots of animals) to near death
Step 2: Bring them to the animal shredder terminal and drop them in 1 by 1 while the others watch
Step 3: Count your jars of liquified pet juice! I got 1 Rare Essence from 50 bunnies!

each pet you melt gives 1-3 essence, it's not a fixed amount...
you might get 1, might get 2, might get 3, it's same for all animals!
