Next time, Caly is on my way, i will take a look. I like what you do, and it remembers me at old Atlantis, where we had a creature museum. Good job!

Wow, so long ago, and some still remember.

Yeah I liked it, too

I didnt know about that. If you can find any more info or pics about it it would be great.

Really, really cool :D

Too bad, i never made a movie, nor pics, of the old museum at Port Atlantis.

Museum Updates

:bull:

The entire team over at the museum took a little part of the huge profit :)tongue2:) the museum made last year and wen't on vacation to a planet called Earth. Some of us found it very interesting but the inhabitants made to big a deal of what they called "fresh air". We tried asking for iron missions but for some reason that wasn't to appreciated. There has to be something wrong with a world where you can't hunt and loot thousands of mobs without them being extinct :scratch2:

So it is good to be back in the real world and let you know that the museum has a few more new items on display. The universe keeps evolving and there seem to be a never ending stream of new mobs and body parts and artists making toys for the kids depicting all these mobs.

Some of the items have been temporarilly placed in storage due to christmas decorations.

Blood: Chimera Blood

The Chimera is defined as a humanoid but looks more like a mammal with huge claws. It was seen last time in Bustamite forest on Next Island in february 2016. It has no visual similarity with it's greek counterpart the Χίμαιρα (latin Chimaera) which had three heads, one from a lion, one from a goat and one from a snake. We where lucky to achieve one bottle of it's blood. It was previously used to craft Time Travel Crystals but the blueprint was later changed. Today it is only a collectors item.
The 6.67 ped sold ever shows it's rarity and whoever wan'ts to buy some for the latest markup of 16000% is more than welcome :).

Soul: Skeleton Soul

This fluid (or maybe it is a gas?) started a separate research project Called "Do Skeletons Really Have Souls?". The drop surprised us all and turned everything we know about creatures roaming the universe upside down.
There are one boney mob rattling around on Next Island, the Pirate Skeleton which also has emerged on Secret Island together with the Buccaneer Skeletons. The skeletons belongs to the maturity class "skeletons" but only the pirate and Buccaneer
drops Skeleton Blood. It is also among crafters a forgotten material and only 7.73 ever sold in auction.

For those of us who eventually will end upp in Hell will meet many other skeleton species like the Asmodai, Astaroth, Baal, Beelzebub, Belial, Belphegor, Berith, Leviathan, Lucifer, Satan and Thammuz.

Blood: Shark Blood

This still drops from Island sharks and Sharks on Next Island and was previously used to craft Time Travel Crystals.

Claw: Chimera Claw

A foot from the Chimera on Next Island with it's distinctive three toes. Only 54 pec registered sales ever in auction. We guess that the eternally hungry trade terminal has been fed with this TT food.

Plasma

A unique Next Island material dropping from a large variety of mobs like Brown Papoo, Chimera, Island Shark, Petit Brown Papoo, Petit Grey Papoo, Petit Red Papoo, Petit Yellow Papoo, Red Papoo, Shark, Snow Drake, Storm Drake, Village Boar, Vulcan Drake, Wild Boar and Yellow Papoo.
The plasma comes dropping in handy plastic bags. On the label it says "Plasma transfusions may help individuals recover from serious injury and loss of blood."
It doesnt say if an injured avatar can use Papoo plasma to recover from injury, I suppose you have to try it yourself.

Soul: Drake Soul

If there was ever a soul I would like to have then it is the Soul of a Drake. But now that seems possible as the Drakes on Next Island shares their yellow souls in practical bottles. The museum have in it's possesion 25 bottles.
If you feel like injecting yourself with a bottle of Drake Soul we would be happy to help you under supervision from one of our highly trained nurses.

Is it used for anything else? Not that we know of. Further testing is needed to decide what the soul of a drake could be useful for.

DNA: Boar DNA Strand

The geneticists Mackenzie and Kylon where the first researchers to extract Boar DNA Strands from one of the original piggies on Next Island. Their reserach has been highly questioned since it led to an astronomical over population
of pigs on this Island (which is a planet, for those that didnt know). Last we heard from Mackenzie and Kylon are merelly rumors, something having to do with a secret project under the name Boarzilla. Neverdie might know more
about this.

Endorphins: Endorphins

Endorphins are short forms of the words endogenous and morphine, intended to mean "a morphine-like substance originating from within the body". But the only known animal where endorphins have been extracted are Yellow Papoos
on Next Island. According to Wikipedia "The principal function of endorphins is to inhibit the transmission of pain signals". Something that are much welcomed among the highly grinded Papoos.

Tail: Riptor Tail Segment

The military on Arkadia has uniforms crafted from the Riptor Tail Segments.

Toy: Argonaut Cuddly Toy

Now everyone who ever wanted to cuddle with an Argonaut can do so. It was a christmas gift from the Gods above on Calypso 2016. It depicts an infant Argonaut dressed as the medieval fool, the ancient professional entertainers.
But it looks qute.

Toy: Christmas Nusul Plushie

The museum has decided to claim this item as an example of how the urban Entropians have become so detached from nature, that they decide to make a cuddly toy from the proud Nusul, which also functions as a lamp. Yes, you heard me right!
Placed in your apartment or/and possesion it is said to "Give you hours of joy and comfort" with it's glowing nose. The official warning regarding the wild nusul says "Despite its friendly looking nose, it can be somewhat
aggressive when provoked, doing damage when it throws its full weight in the direction of its attacker."

We are afraid that kids playing with this toy will get the wrong education preparing them for the harsh reality in the Arkadian wilderness.

But the intention was probably warm hearted when the Arkadia government decided to give every citizen a Christmas Nusul Plushie in 2016 as a present.

Museum Updates

:bull:

A few new items have been added in the museum.

Acetylcholine: Acetylcholine

Extracted from the brains of Brown Papoos on Next Island. Rumors says that the scientists there have been trying to use it for memory enhancements, but noone remembers if it works.
And neither do the market who have only seen 78 pec of it sold in auction, ever.

Blood: Werewolf Blood

The cosmetics and jewelry industry never seems to surprise me in what they can muster to use for crafting products.
The blood from the werewolf seems to used for Lycan Charm Bracelets.
We have asked the locals but noone seems to know if this item actually exists. Can it be worn? Has it ever been crafted?
A rumor says that it is used with other ingredients to access an instance on Rocktropia.

Claw: Werewolf Claw

Also used to craft Lycan Charm Bracelets but also Lockpick Kit VIII and Skully ROCK T-Shirt (M,C).
I can see the logic. A werewolf nail maybe can be used to pick a lock, but making a t-shirt?

Claw: Phasm Claw

It is said that "The phasm claw is a prized commodity and used by several other humanoid species in potions and cures."
But we have completelly failed to learn in what potions and cures this are used.
It can be refined so our guess is that Phasms can be bread by DNA manipulation.
The interest for the item has been large in the past but declined to a minimum in the last year.

Eye: Werewolf Eye

Also used to craft Lycan Charm Bracelets and also Lockpick Kit VIII and Road-Monkey Laser Amp Mk IV (L).
Amazing how scientists can find use of stuff. I guess a good werewolf eye could work as a part of a laser sight.

Fang: Werewolf Fangs

Also used to craft Lycan Charm Bracelets but also a Global Trucker Cap (C) and the Lockpick Kit VIII.
The fashion on Rocktropia never seems to surprise me. I wonder if the buyer of the trucker cap gets to know where the materials comes from.

Flag: Cornundacauda Flag

The Cornundacauda flag was discovered in early 2006. The locals where as confused as always.
One comment was saying "That would be cool if we could play capture the flag, lol".
It was later discovered that the flag could be used together with other cornundacauda parts and DNA Fragment A to make Cornundacauda DNA Samples.
Rather decorative and is now on display in the museum in the Calypso section.

Horn: Armax Small Horn

The only know armax that drops the Armax Small Horn is the Armax Bull. It can be used to make Armax Cow DNA Samples.
It has become an extremelly rare commodity. Where on the armax this body part actually are located is for us unknown.

Nail: Beladoth Nail

The main use for the Beladoth Nails are for crafting weapon attachments.
We havent yet received it from Arkadia. It was bought on mail order and the delivery seems to be a bit delayed.

Tooth: Tabtab Golden Tooth

We suspect that the "gold" in the Tabtab Golden Tooth is added by local traders on Toulan to make the regular Tabtab Tooth look more decireable.
It can be won by doing a tab tab quest.

:eyecrazy: will take a look at this museum for sure!

Museum Updates

:bull:

A brave delegation of researchers took the long flight over to Rocktropia. We felt it was necessary to study the wildlife a little bit closer.
We really need to know more about how the evolution on Rocktropia has developed. To many it seems like a dream filled with creatures from pop culture mythology.
Zombies, werewolfs, psychopathic criminals, robotic skanks and horrific axe swinging monsters, who seem to just have climbed out of a hard rock convolute.
And the african big cats? How did they end up among these ghastly and ghostly living (and undead) creatures.

We really know very little about how this eco system came to be, so we thought that a closer look at some of our researchers finds would be necessary.

Blood: Motörhead Security Blood

If you get close enough with your knife and are lucky enough to survive you can get a few drops of Motörhead Security Blood from the Motörhead Security or the Motörhead Mega-Mouth.
The Rocktropian truck drivers seems to think it is cool to wear caps, hats and t-shirts made out of the Motörheads blood.
523 bottles at 1 ped each of this blood has been sold since the first Rocktropian managed to gather some.
Many thinks that Motörheads are carnivours, but we believe they are on a strict orange diet with their orange colored blood.
Another theory is that there has been soem dna infusion from the famous hard rocker Lemmy Kilmister, who was said to have toxic blood.

Blood: Vampire Blood

Recycling is on every Entropians mind these days, but the weirdest recycled item we have encountered is the Vampire Blood. They suck our blood, we kill the vampires, and reuse their blood to make
Anarchy Trucker Caps and Vampire Charm Bracelets. An abrupt stop in the trading of Vampire Blood happened in early 2017. We don't know why. It had a good 400+% markup.
We have failed finding any professional Vampire Blood collector. Maybe they are all sucked up by the nasty vampire chicks in hell.

Eye: Vampire Eye

A local trader tried to sell us what he claimed to be vampire eyes. Of course as tourists we believed him and bought a few.
One of our researchers got the brilliant idea to add them instead of the glasses on normal goggles, and went off into the dark.
He believed strongly in the night vision abilities of these eyes because as he said "Vampires are extremelly sensitive to light."
If his goggles worked we dont know, he havent come back yet.
The local thieves is said to use them to make lockpicks. Burglaries seems to have increased the last year and that coincide with the marketing stats showing an increase in trading of vampire eyes latelly.

Fang: Vampire Fangs

We bought a couple of Vampire Fangs from an anonymous trader in a dark alley on Zoomhattan. He said it was his grandma's dentures. But we later found out it was vampire fangs.
A criminal offense selling them. We asked a local police but he was to busy rambling "42 42 42" in his police radio.
We got immediatelly stunned by the weight of the fangs. They weigh half a kilo. How can such a small Vampire Chick have such heavy fangs?
Now, here comes the strangest part of all. Local crafters use the Vampire Fangs to craft trucks and sexy tops. We totally failed to see the smallest denominator between a truck and a sexy top.
The sales of Vampire Fangs also ended abruptly in early 2017. We suspect the worst have happened to the vampire hunters.

Heart: Wolf Heart

There are two wolf species on Rocktropia. The City Wolf and the Scavenger Wolf. But the heart is very hard to find.
We where lucky to find it from the well known Rocktropian citizen 'Addict' at CND Lagoon.
At a closer look there seems to be no major differences between the circulatory system of the wolf and the circulatory system of the human.
We found out in the Rocktropia Library that the ancient crafters on Rocktropia used the hearts to make Wolf Charm Bracelets. But no living being now knows why they made them.

Plasma: Vampire Plasma

Vampire Plasma is green and retrieved from the emergency center in Hell from blood donating Vampire Chicks.
It was all over the Hell News that Vampire Chicks where drying out because of the immense hunting of them.
The local environemnt organisation Hellpeace managed to create such a sympathy for the threatened species that funds was gathered to build the Vampire Emergency Center (VEC).

Tooth: Dragon Tooth

This tooth has a sad story with a happy end. Dragons often lives their peaceful lives in the southern part of Rocktropia. Peacefully flapping their wings together, and not disturbing anyone.
The normal diet for a dragon was knights and sweet and nutricious virgins that where given to them.
But in modern times the dragons got a taste for sweetstuff carried by local dragon tamers, and the supply of knights and virgins also declined. This led to some health issues.
One night an eremite at the southern shores woke up by the most terrible screaming from the dragon fields. It kept on night after night until the eremite decided to approach the dragons.
Every dragon, except one, did their usual wing flapping. But this particular Pop Dragon (later in the local news named 'Neverpie') was sitting, leaning his forehead to the ground, with closed eyes, and shivering.
No vivid flame boosts out of it's mouth, just a thick grey smoke.
The eremite, who had'nt visited a dentist for 45 years immediatelly recognized the symptoms, the Pop Dragon Neverpie suffered from severe tooth ache.
The biggest and most prestigious dental work ever attracted dentists from all over the solar system.
Neverpie was succesfully sedated and a small field clinic was setup in it's mouth. We witnessed Neverpies awakening and his return to his happy wing flapping friends. But we are even happier to have achieved the extracted
tooth. Now on display in the museum.

Horn: Motörhead Security Horn

Caps and hats are often made of animal body parts, the Motörhead Security Horn is no exception. Used to make Motorhead Ball Caps and Motorhead Trucker Caps and Hats.
But the market has declined and only 5 horns sold last year.
It is though one more evidence that the Motörhead Security is a vegetarian as most animals with horns are.
They only weigh around 0,1 kg why we suspect they are hollow and just for show off.

Wing: Lemmy Wing

To come by a dragon wing is quite hard. The reason is that dragons are said to eat their own wings before they die. We can't confirm or deny this. And we hope we will never live to see it.
What we do know is that Lil Swampymonster somehow managed to get his hand on some Lemmy Wings and put them up for sale in his shop in Tangerine.
In the belief that some foreigner would come by and wanted some souvenirs. Of course, as the good judger of the human mind he is, he was right. I instantly bought it and had big plans to decorate the museum with it.
But little did we know of the size of a dragon wing (as you can see) and we don't recommend doing this at home.

Hand: Zombie Hand

Some may argue that zombies shouldnt be part of a Biodiversity Museum. But we debated a lot and came to the conclusion that zombies are alive but closer to a turp mind rather than a human.
We also feel sorry for them and they could be an ancestor. Imagine, having a cronical bad smell of death around you, whereever you go, no matter how much aftershave you use. You are just doomed to be a party pooper.
We don't know much about zombies, not even the answer to if they are clinically dead or just brain dead.
Are they reborn after death or just very very sick?
Any attempt to research the zombie anatomy is associated with grave danger though.
The person trying to describe the Zombie Hand seems to have turned into a zombie himself halfway through the sentence:
This item is used to manufacture ...
Material: Zombie Hand.

We will maybe never know if anyone got the sick urge to craft a hat, a truck or a cap out of this plagued material.

Bone: Zombie Bone

The similarity between the vampire and the zombie bone is stunning. The differance is the green colored zombie bone.
There are no known use for the zombie bone but we imagine it can be used as a material to make a Rocktropian hat.
But what Rocktropian material is not used to make a hat we ask ourselves?

Plasma: Zombie Plasma

Zombie Plasma is also green as the vampire plasma. But we don't think zombies are blood donors.
It is used to make Zombie Charm Bracelets. Not many trades of the plasma has been done.
Maybe even the Rocktropians have some sort of ethical boundary.

Blood: Wolf Blood

Wolf Blood has some use actually. As a material for crafting BLP weapons, a luxury deed case, of course a cap and bracelets.
Wolf Blood is orange. An interesting study of wolfs color perception shows that the colors red and yellow are most interesting to a wolf.
A theory behind this is that they associate it with blood and urine.

Nail: Otorugi Nail

The Otorugi Nail is one of the Otorugis many nails. Nails not just on its hand but also shoulders and on it's back.
The way it kills it's prey is not a sight for the faint hearted as it slashes it and let it bleed to death.
It is unknown who first discovered this nail but it showed up on the market at the beginning of 2012.
If you want a pair of IFN Combat Uniform Arctic Pants you need an Otorugi Nail to make them.

Horn: Tandardion Horn

The Tantardion horn is a very rare find. As are the tandardions. The early Calypso settlers described it as follows:
Tan is a brown - light brown colour.
Tardion is derived from Tardys, which is the opposite of the Greek word Tachys, meaning fast (Tachion is a particle which is very fast, Tardion is a particle which is very slow).
Therefore, a very slow brown thing.
The Tandardion has short legs and a huge rectangular body shape and a head covered with horns of differant sizes.
The horn can not be refined.

Pike: Combibo Pike

The combibo has several sharp pikes on the side of it's body. When attacked the combibo quickly turns the side of it's body towards the attacker and tries to stick him with the pikes.
The Calypso inhabitants don't use the pike for anything else than hanging them on the wall.
It can't be refined.

Skull: Armax Skull Complete

I was lucky to meet the hunter who saved this massive Armax Skull after one of his hunts.

I let him tell the story about the hunt of this majestic and domestic animal, the Armax Old Alpha. The hunt that rewarded him with the skull.

Darth Revan Reborn said:
Darth Revan Reborn:
- Well i happened to come across this bad boy in a field...was the only one around...thought it was strange

Loco:
- in a field? like, just lying around?

Darth Revan Reborn:
- no the creature was in a field...i think maybe it had been chasing someone and was away from the spawn
- was an old alpha armax bull level 28 i think
- didnt know how hard they could hit...found out pretty quickly

Loco:
- hehe, yea, they do, and I have never heard anyone loot that complete skull
- just 3 of them sold last year

Darth Revan Reborn:
- i think it was just luck...only one i have tried to kill and it gave a little swirl
- took repeated attempts to take it down since i was only doing 60 damage per shot and it would kill me in 2 hits
- thinking about it now...silly idea to keep going back...but it paid off

Loco:
- you revived and came back or healed?

Darth Revan Reborn:
- revivied, there was an outpost nearby, so would use a tp chip to put me just outside of its range

Loco:
- I think we all been there, some epic mob you always dreamt of taking down, not matter the costs and how long timt it takes, it just has to die :)

Darth Revan Reborn:
- im just glad it didnt have friends nearby

Skull: Shub Skull

The Shub Skull is a rare find and a precious decoration for any Monrian hunter.
The local xeno biologists describes it as follows:

The oddest thing about the skull of the Shub is not it's consistency, it's elongated cranial cavity, the protuberance where its horns bonds to its skull. No none of these things betray the grotesque depths
to which these caves truly reach. The skull could almost be described as ornate in that it as adorned with cryptic figures and shapes. It is speculated that it could be some form of equation or writing,
though there has yet to be a breakthrough in deciphering it.

Skull: Cultist Skull

Even scientists lose their objective eyes and almost lose their mind just by watching the reamins of some of bizarre creatures out there.
The head of the cultist is one of those things. I have decided to post a recent photo of said skull together with a kitten (to lower the scaryness factor).

Statue: Large Daikiba Stone Statue

The statue is one of the most classical statues on Calypso. Daikiba fossil remains outside of the early colonizers camp sites shows that Daikibas was early on domesticated.
Tamed it's a very loyal, social and sturdy guard dog. And probably it reminded the early settlers of their ancient home on Planet Earth and the dogs. As we all know pets wherent allowed on the long trip to the Entropia solar system.
The early crafters used what they could find to make the first statues. By carbon dating and molecular analysis we now know they used angelic flakes, caldorite ingot, daikiba leather and megan ingot as ingredients.

:bull:

Claw: Bahri Claw

The Bahris lives on Toulan where they cut and stab any non bahri creatures with their crocked claws. Official description of the Bahri: "Bahri is a vicious hunter. Known to be highly intelligent, with multiple brains that focus collectively on his prey. To be avoided at all costs." Local crafters tried to use the claws in 2004. They managed to refine them into Bahri Claw Tips but have yet not found any use for them.

Trophy: Berycled Trophy

This has been a very popular trophy on Calypso since 04 Sep 2012 when a rescue team found a dead colonist with a Berycled neck spike driven through his chest. It has been studied thoroughly since then but recent research has began to study the resemblence between the hiryuu and the berycled neck spikes. Is the Hiryuu an ancestor to the Berycled and if so why did they develop wings?

Trophy: Caudatergus Trophy

A trophy from the Caudatergus (cauda = tail, tergus = bristles) is mandatory in any Calypso colonists home. It has become so popular that a Mr Bukin since a couple of years works full time at Camp Icarus helping people to get their own Caudatergus Trophy. It was first discovered in 28 Aug 2012. It became so popular to collect that the government in 2013 announce the following "Increased the maximum stack size of Berycled and Caudatergus trophies." Which meant people could carry around more trophy heads without getting caugt by the local law inforcement.

Toy: Tough Smuggler Plush Toy

This plush toy is an initiation ritual reward for Arkadia's underground movement the smugglers. You need to pay 50000 arkoins in tribute to even be able to enter the Smuggler Warehouse Instance 1 where you (if you are lucky) can loot the Tough Smuggler Plush Toy. But if you do this then this "adorable and cuddly plush toy will bring hours of joy and comfort" (something you trully will need as a Smuggler).

Are you still missing Alien Blood and Alien Resin Fluid? I can donate those as for some obscure reason I haven't tt-ed them yet (those are common items).

Some notes:
  • Tabtab Cavity is refined from Tabtab Tooth
  • Part of Fossil Tooth is a mined resource (treasure)
  • Fossil Tooth is refined from Part of Fossil Tooth

Thanks for the notes, I can add it to the list of items in the first post. The Museum update posts are more light hearted ;)

Trophy head: Monura Male Trophy Head

Arkadians really do love their trophy heads. In a typical arkadian home you wont find much to sit on, lay down on, eat dinner at because a typical arkadian home is so crammed with trophy heads and plush toys that there is not room for much else. If a head can be chopped off and put on the wall the arkadian WILL do it. But, so far, the trophy hunting on Arkadia doesnt involve killing any endangered species. But there are strict regulations on when an arkadian is allowed to put a trophy head on the wall. And there is no exception for the monuras. For example an arkadian is not allowed to put a monura trophy head on the wall until he/she has killed 5000 of them.

We found this very interesting documentary by SausageFingers that shows how a dedicated arkadian goes about hunting monuras.

The monura trophy head can be worth up to 10 ped. 24 have been sold since june 2015. But most of them has probably ended up in arkadian homes.

Toy: Tough Smuggler Special Forces Plush Toy

An arkadian kid is not allowed to play with the trophy heads. But somehow the kids have to be prepared for the hard life as an adult arkadian hunter. Thats why (as the xenopsycholigists call it) the kids need transition objects between mummy and the real world aka plush toys. But when some parents chose fluffy bunny or teddy toys others give their kids more hard core plush toys as the Tough Smuggler Special Forces Plush Toy. With its black leather outfit with red stripes and huge, shining red alien eyes it looks more like a little cuddly monster. (but just between you and me, thats a perfect description of the typical arkadian kid, a little cuddly monster)

Essence: Animal Essence

The abundance of killable creatures on all planets in our universe sometimes makes the ethic boundaries pass way way beyond anything that our ancestors back on Earth would accept. Grinding qute pets to Animal Essence is one such thing. Or as the official description likes to call it:
A more pure form of life energy compared to sweat.

Many hunters takes a break from hunting and tame various animals. But not always to get their own little cuddly pet to have as company. No no! They tame hundreds of them. But instead of having hundreds of bunnies jumping around on their backyard they squeeze them down the pet grinders. Animal essence is a valuable commodity and is used to make a pet unlock hidden skills.

Essence: Animal Essence Rare

As the name hints this is also Animal Essence extracted by grinding pets but much rarer.

Plate: Kreltin Soft Plate

The kreltins are small, bulky mobs living on Crystal Palace. Some think they look like huge walking brains but the first time I met one I thought, "OMG thats the biggest tic I have ever seen". Every life form is fascinating but I have a really hard time when it comes to tics. And the thought of one of these beasts getting stuck on me, sucking me dry, gives me gose bumps. Armor crafters early found out that their shell was perfect to make armor plates of. There is even an entire armor crafted using Kreltin Soft Plates, the Ghoul armor. But the armor is extremelly rare, some parts never sold in auction. You decide if they look like walking brains or huge alien tics.

Blood: Alien blood

:)yay: Donated to the museum by Haruto Rat :yay:)

We have come by a bottle of green alien blood. After some research on blood colors in differant species it seems that arthropods have green blood, or more correct hemolymph. The reason humans have red blood is because of the iron based oxygene carrier hemoglobin. Something that the arthropods (like grasshoppers) dont have, instead some of them use hemocyanin if they dont have other means of oxygene intake. We know that this alien bottle of blood comes from either kreltins or aurlis. There is some similarity between aurlis and a grasshopper why we think they may have the same blood system and therefore the greenish color.

Here is an interesting discussion on alien blood color.

Flesh: Aurli Shock Flesh

We are uncertain of the meaning of "Shock" but we are pretty sure what Flesh is. Why you would like to have flesh in your armor plates is beyond me, but a few armor plates are crafted using the aurli shock flesh. The sales have decllined since the beginning of time but are still sold.

Fluid: Alien Resin Fluid

:)yay: Donated to the museum by Haruto Rat :yay:)

An enigma, what do resin do in aliens? Do they eat a lot of pines out there at the alien dining tables? There are very few examples of resin coming from animals but some examples are shellac and lacquer that is insect derived resin. This particular sample was taken from a failed alien abduction attempt. The probing planned by the aliens back-fired and instead some brave IFN space cadettes tied an alien down, and probed it. This had the strange side effect that the bottle cant be placed normally on a table as can be see below.

Mandible: Bokol Mandible

The bokol mandible has two rows of teeths. The outer row is over sized, as the mandible itself, which make us believe it is derived by sexual selection. A big bokol mandible + hot bokol lady = big bokol babies. It is the inner row of teeths that do the actual crushing and digesting work of the prey. We have said it before, don't be fooled by the bokols big smile, you really don't wan't to come close to that mandible.

If you ever wan't to breed bokols you need a bokol mandible and a Bokol Skull Plate, some Bokol Flesh, a Bokol Long Bone and a Blank Arkadian DNA Cartridge 3. But then you can do it and never be disturbed by your annoying neighbours again.

Tail: Madana Tail

Madana is a location in Eritrea, Nepal, Nigeria, Sri Lanka and Tchad and a green, medium sized, wild dog looking creature on Arkadia. It is 1 of the 14 looted mob tails on Arkadia. The madana tail is often chopped off and used to craft pulsar armor plates with. The last 24 hours 295 madana tails have been sold but the market graphs are confusing with a huge peak around 2015-05-27 @ 600% compared to todays more modest 290ish %, but still a good markup for a green little tail.

:bull:

The recent acquisitions can be studied in the museum. Welcome :)
