Help!

Was on ark giving away my ped to people looting items in every single mob, then I crashed. Got the normal avatar is online crap, waited five minutes. Now I get past authentication but stuck on loading screen with progressbar not moving at all.

Help!?

Made a new thread since this came after a crash, not directly after patch.

Edit: Tried clearing shader cache, didn't help. Repairing atm.

Edi2: Repair solved it

It's random, happens most often on Arkadia (although I've occasionally had this on other planets as well), and repair doesn't really make it go away.

Logging off in busy places and near terminals seems to make it worse.

Just close the window (or Alt+Enter to switch to windowed if you're starting in fullscreen) and try again.
 
Deleting dynamic content from arkadia underground usually fixed it for me. And don't download before you log in. Log in then you'll be downloading while at loading screen.
 
Crashed, and got the issue again.

This time clearing shader cache worked fine. Strange. :scratch2:

Edit: Crashed again. Problem back.

Edit2: This time clearing cache worked as well.
 
Happened again. Clearing shader fixed it. Instant crash. Happened again. Repairing again.

Something must have went terribly wrong with the last patch.

Edit: Repair didnt help. Clearing cache after repair did.
 
Is there something wrong with your PC at all? Constant crashing could be an overheating issue. :lam:

Entropia has been pretty stable for me this evening.

I did wonder about your repeated logging in, out, in, out, shake it all about on FL btw :banana:

Usually the game works perfectly. Sometimes I CTD but that is rare. It is as soon as there are events with big shared mobs that strange things like this starts to happen.
 
Same issues tonight. And I am not alone.

Could we please have the latest patch removed....!?
 
This just happend to me, still cant get in after clearing shader cache and repairing :mad:

Also on Arkadia, Underground
 
Have you tried the virtual tycoon app log in/log out. It sometimes help
 
I deleted Arkadia and redownload it, works now :wtg:

Yes this happens a lot in the underground with my system. I found that if you delete the dynamic content all will work again.

But I found as well that if I get stuck with this screen I log in using my other system and move my ava to a new location and am ok to log in using my main system again?
 
Why do we all have to be it-specialists to play this game? And then we wonder why there's not a lot of players?

99.9% of us just install / upgrade with version updates and it works?

With the wide variety of PC's using different versions of Windows (XP,7,8) and 32 bit and 64 bit flavours, sometimes there's the odd wrinkle, but I've not had any issues in past couple of years? :dunno:

TBH, all my issues disappeared when I went to 64 bit Win7, Entropia really is a beast in terms of resources and having 8 gig of ram helped enormously.
