The Bull's Pen Daikiba Wave Event

I unwittingly wandered into this event yesterday, hunting various mobs on the island. Me and another player with low level laser weapon hunted into round 9, but we ran out of time on the second to last mob.

This event is FUN! It starts out so unassuming with level 3-4 mobs, but by the end you're talking on stalkers that hit hard on gremlin/5b.

I was super disappointed I didn't get to see what was in round 10, but I've since found out that the final wave has a "Raging Daikiba Bull" level 103, and I don't think I could have killed that alone.

I'm going to head back tonight if anyone wants to team up. (~6-7 EST)

It's found on Calypso around 55000, 64000

By the way, don't think it's as high as level 103. More like 74 or so I think.

Sweet! Hopefully we'll have enough DPS to k.o. the raging bull before the end of the round. :)
 
It's not just DPS, but also the amount of time you spend FAPing.

Bit of advice, the thing tends to jump around if stand in one place. If you back away as you shoot, it will follow you. Just make sure to stay in the wave area.

Oh, yeah. I think the timeout is 15 minutes. I did have him timeout on me when I was screwing around one time. Big disappointment.
 
I've had too many damn timeouts, but I never learn...

Have an Imp FAP so the time spent healing is not too bad :) Mainly DPS if you're there with me.

A nice event I've tried a couple of times now, and great for the Daikiba missions - very easily done with a few people.


We should do a new video :)

Close! L79 11,000 HP (based on its stamina of 1100)

A shame there isn't somewhere on the forum you can look up things like that. ;)
 
I went there last night and there were a few people already working on the waves, so we got the raging daikiba bull down!

I like this event :)
 
You are probably aware, but if anyone loots the Daikiba blood sample, that is what hijacker is waiting for in order to spawn the Hussk.

So good luck to everyone doing this wave event. :thumbup:

Have run past here a bit recently but never nees anything.

Is there a way to kick it off, like the Goki thing?

You have to go to the statue in the middle of the island and activate the wave, and the boss usually gives out combat tokens in the loot so usually worth it.

I know there is a statue for the Goki thing, but cannot find one for the Daikiba wave - is it on the island?
 
Yes on the high bit, can't miss it.

I say that but I can never find the goki one first time lol

Ran around a lot earlier and not spotted it LOL

Just expect same people show up after a while when wave closing in to those last
waves, and oddly they seem always be the only one who got the tokens. ;)
