i dont know the value of a tier 0 L2, but as a reference - i sold my tier 6 on auction in jan for +12.5k.

its a great weapon.

Absolutely low would be 9k, but I wouldn't be surprised to see you get 10k fairly easily.

There is a high tier currently being sold for I think it was 11.2k.

I can't stop being tempted from making a bid myself.

Depends on a buyer and how bad they want the gun.

I would say you can get 8k easily.
 
Gz man. Yeah, I agree with other 8-10k, fits dante perfectly and is decent mid dps
 
For the level requirement its an awesome gun with dante. I used to buy the (L) version a lot and I don't want to think about the peds I spend on MU and the hassle to have enough of them in stock because you burn fast trough the L version. Downside is that you outgrew this gun pretty fast but the difference between L2 and L3 isn't that big.


I would try to go for 10k sb with room for negotiations, maybe accepting other items to juice the deal up
 
10 - 12k on it, its a Caly Trek with less range

sungam can tell you he sold for 10 or 11k, the guy before sold about same, none have sold under 10k

NoX and Gekko I offered 8k 2 years ago for one looted on eomon and didnt take it. Gun sold for 10k+ not sure actual number. But am sure all others were reported being sold on 10k + offers
 
there was one recently that didnt sell at 10 k buyout in auction, so it was relisted in auction @+5 K startbid and that one should be sold and seeable in the market history - so around that price :yup:

+ 8 K is my guess

You cant compare a Knife or Melee weapon with a popular BLP Skill giving item
Melee items break faster, the an amp like dante cost 3x as much, and cant shoot sharp.
Comparing Melee to any BLP or Laser gun....? Just not a good example in this case...

More people favor BLP handguns because they tend to be faster and more eco, plus the UL amps they fit add alot more dmg at half the cost of there laser counter parts.

So your argument is for 34.1 less range

Do you factor into this equation the part about the Engima being more Eco and More DPS

Having owned both the guns you compare. They cannot compared, the spirit should be 2.5-3 times the price of the L2. It's uses are far better. The armor and fap decay savings using spirit more then covers the price, not to mention the range on shared loot spawns. Compare pistols to pistols and people will listen....

This is a good skilling pistol but not one to keep forever I think the 8k range is fair. You often use this pistol until you can use a better L handgun with more dmg/sec, this gun is just to limited for the high health high regen mobs we have now. Just a solid low to low-mid skiller until you can use better dmg/sec.

You missed my entire point, i actually said you cant compare the guns the way you do, as i cant compare melee to HG since its equally silly-ish...

Fact remains, a L2 didnt sell in au for 10k BO and our job in a pricecheck thread is to determine the current market value of an item, not the "it should be this so i hope for that" price.

Besides, if you havent noticed Caly MKI dont sell for 15k stock at this moment, many for sale with pretty many tiers on them and the thread keeps bumping at 16-17k

And even though you cant compare handguns to melee ( as you cant comare handguns to rifles ) the fact also remains that alot of players that normally would use HG now merge into melee. This has to affect prices weither you like it or not.

Well buying it for 10k also means handing someone 10k, in a market where its unlikely you will get the peds back once you are done with it and ready for next step up.

Having owned a Caly Trek my self and Herman Law 30 Smuggler and Cap 30 Smuggler, imp a105, Dante and Mod Cause and many other guns.

Armor and fap difference are not that much at all even after long grinds. Just about any mob can come over 34m's in 3 seconds or less...

Having watched the market as it was and is today....

That gun will sell for 10k easy :yup:

And thats the Price of the Current Market as it stands today.

Wanted to compare on same premises, Sonkra wasnt an option in this comparision since it lasts like 50 swings ( not really but you get the idea ) :)
 
If your selling i would wait until after summer is over, prices at the moment are low with "summer slowdown". Seen some last orders on auction go through at really low prices of late, bad time to sell imo.

Are heres a option, sell it to me for 8k as some here say its worth. Then I can sell it for 10k what I say its worth.

Well, given the time your gear usually sells in it will be september by then and price may very well be 10k, my opinion on price is based on today, thats why i said "8k in the current market" :)
 
I would pay 8k right now and just swap back to BLP. Even at 9k I'd be tempted, and I'm not even a particularly motivated buyer.

Just like cars have various values on Kelly Blue Book based on if you're selling/buying private sale/dealer, I think we have a case where the value to most buyers/traders is 8k-9k, but the value to a select few buyers would be more like 10k. Since he only has one gun to sell, he can hold off and wait for the later type of consumer.

Im do some trading yes, and my estimation of the value was market value to end user, i wouldnt pay more than 7k for this gun at tier 0, if i were interested that is... :)

Its May 11th, it would be almost 4 months till September...
So basically you have no clue what your talking about and tring to cheat this guy out of 2k

Again ive provided all the evidence on what this gun sells for, talk to all those PPL I provided. They will all tell you and even the recent ones that sold. The ppl commenting here are resellers or high lvl players who have no use for this gun. To skill to the next BLP UL gun of its class would take a long time and alot of peds.

Am i trying to cheat someone out of 2k ? Thats quite an accusation to make.

I DONT WANT TO BUY THE DAMN THING, how hard is it to understand.

Its a pricecheck thread, i gave my opinion on the matter based on how fucked up the market is atm.

Dont make this into a "resellers just want to buy it cheap" thing.

If OP came to me asking if i wanted it for 6k i still wouldnt buy it, ok?

And again, if it sells so "easy" for 10k, why was there one with tiers and BO 10k in au that didnt sell, doesent sound easy to me.
 
Well as people argue, maybe it is best to set up a forum sale. Put in a SB of 10 and let it run 1 week. If you recieve bids in the time market will be higher. If you do not recieve bids after a week, lower SB 100 PED every couple of day.

Keep people updated on priice so the arguiing stops ;)

Maybe not as late as September, but the market is at a low atm, just have to watch auctions and see things going through at lower than expected mark up (or not selling at all). Maybe the OP will get 10k or more, but i think people just pointing out that it is a bad time to sell atm, less people online due to summer.

As Jennson said make a sales thread @ 10k or whatever and see if sells, price check threads are just a guess game - only way to know for sure is a sales thread.

Good luck to OP with the sale, i truly hope you attain whatever price you set.

Just to clarify - I have no interest in the gun.
