Help: Just run repair,and all files are missing

Hello there,
After a long break i wanted to see whats new in here,
so i downloaded the game and run repair in the control panel so it deletes unnessesary files,
but it deleted my whole hdd-with all the pictures and everything,only few folders left and some scrap,not a single picture from 50 GB data...
Can i get them back?



PLS help,i need atleast the pictures back
 
this is gonna be a hassle and will need some PC knowledge but it is possible.
Remove the disk that has got the deleted files on, get another hard drive and install operating system on that .
Then install previous hard disk as a D drive .(secondary)

Then install a data recovery software such as get data back and run that on your D drive . It will show you what can be recovered.

What a BS,hundreds of GB data lost because i tryed to see entropia again....u cant imagine how i feel right now
 
You need to use specialist recovery software.

I've had some success recovering some important documents with the above (free) program.

You shouldn't boot with the drive that has had information deleted in order to recover the most data (as SoReal said above). If that means you buy another HD, its probably worth doing that.

Are you sure it was EU process that deleted your data?

Could have been that the HD was on the way out anyway, what SoReal has said is very valid, stop using that drive ASAP.
 
I also concur this! HDD can go corrupt :(.
 
Mega was right,i already had some software,and got the pics back,now,reinstall everything...luckely,main drive is a ssd
 
nice job , panic over , now do some backups and keep them safe ;)
