*Mining Event* - The ladder on LA43

This is the first round of the LA43 mining championship.

Prizes:
1st place 300Ped
2nd place 150Ped
3rd place 75Ped

When: 6/13/15 - 7/13/15

Rules : :wise:
- Pick a resource (must be available on LA 43), once decided you must stick with it.
- Ladder starts at Tiny (II) claim size and then builds up as far as you can go.
- Every step on the ladder has to be found in the right order.
- Find and post the claims in the order of size and show with screenshots that it is so.
- Screenshot must include claim deed info window, loot window, compass showing LA #43.
- Screenshot of claim deed info, loot window and compass must not overlap.
- Screenshot must include timestamp.
- Post to thread must be made within 24 hours of finding claim. (Last day with in 6 hours)
- All claims in ladder must be from LA #43.
- Top 3 highest ladders win.
- In the case of a tie, the parties will split the prize sum of the places. For example, if 2 people tie for first place then they evenly split the 1st and 2nd place prizes.

Here's what you can find on LA #43.
Langotz, Platinum, Zink, Narcanisium, Gazzurdite, Cumbriz, Lysterium, Dianum, Typonolic, Azur, Ferrum, Oil, Lytarian and possibly Ignisium.

and Solis Beans. I've also found Ignisium about 50 m outside of the SE corner, wouldn't be surprised to find it inside as well.

I guess there's no point in picking platinum, dianum or ferrum then :)

I'll add Ignisium to the list as suspect. The resource you pick must be available on LA 43, else your claims wont be valid. I reworded the overlapping window requirement. I think its pretty clear now.

Seems like fun event :).

Those two rules are not clear to me. You could mean one of those two situations:
1) I must post IV with earlier timestamp than V (seems logical).
2) I can get V sooner than IV and store it. And then i have 24 hours to find smaller claims. Then post in proper order (even though timestamps will not be in order but as long i do not exceed the 24h they will count).

I am guessing you ment 1) but imo its not clear enough ;).

#1 is correct.

- Every step on the ladder has to be found in the right order. (proven with timestamp)
- Posting within 24 hours is the to keep people from withholding their results.

Reworded rules to make more clear, please re-read.

About rules: do I need to announce my mineral pick before posting the first screenshot or before the timestamp of it?

You don't need to pre announce.
 
Tested this morning and found a good mix of tiny's and minimal.

Didn't expect to get this far :silly2: (solis tends to hide under 'Unknown' often, and up to ~VIII it's one pull even with TT excavator, so you can't get a pic of the claim)
 
Qualified result. Leaderboard updated.
 
It took me an hour and 35 minutes last night to find a Very Poor (III) Narc. I kept getting small (V) with F-101. Usually its the other way around for me... Its like MA is reading my mind. :scratch2:

I don't see your screenshots. To qualify, you need to include a screenshot with the claim open, compass visible, and timestamp in chat window to prove you found claims in order. Please post your screenshots.
