Harvesting and Planks

Ive had a few people message me about the harvesting system and composite planks so i thought id explain in a little more detail here. Im at work at the moment so screenshots will follow. I will also be adding BP info etc as i get more more time.

Trees and Tools

It appears that at the moment there are only 3 levels of tree and any harvesting tool can see the nodes but only certain tools can take advantage of the rarer materials, as harvesting with a tool of a lower tier or level will only give you the maximum available to that tool as explained below.

Terratech PH-1

lvl1 - lvl3 Trees - Shortboard

Terratech PH-2

lvl.1 Trees - Shortboard
lvl.2 - lvl.3 Trees - Standard Board

Terratech PH-3

lvl.1 Trees - Shortboard
lvl.2 Trees - Standard Board
lvl.3 Trees - Long Boards

All materials are required to produce the Composite Plank which is required to purchase 3 of the 4 coming land plots.

Ok,ok, now (with your UL tool) you are king-of-harvest!
I was wondering only one thing - what to do with all these boards when will bought and builded all the buildings, and what to do with these boards on the other planets?

Only useful having a PH3 really

Anybody done a decay test for PH-1/2/3 (L) ?

I believe Gewitter did one for th PH-3 L and it came out at 0.1ped per click (same as UL)

Imo they should make harvesting a Caly thing for now, like TH is Arka thing.
