To me it is a game and not offensive, but i agree to women in particular that it can be. If Toulan doesn't want them on their planet then is up to them, i can also see their point of view.

I was told the first trick is "twerk", which while i find amusing can understand concerns of people. If they end up being only RT spawnable then fair enough, can't blame other planet partners for not wanting them there.

Everybody has different moral compass, to your typical guy or teenager i can see the attraction, to women or different cultures i understand that maybe it crosses the line for them.

MA, in an effort to give PP's some discretion over the matter, is implementing a change to allow individual planets to turn them on or off.

As it is now, it is programmed as all or none.

Please do research before you bash some PP that is trying hard and never ONCE said anything against vixens.

I admit, even I was shocked a little when I saw that...but I still have no problems with it...although I thought they would have saved that one for level 15 or something :D

Im strongly against anything of that nature and an despise whole heartily any activity that could even be compared to such. But Tamable Androids, is in no way close to such. Just as guys with female ava's arent tied to such.

If the 2 were even close id be on the for front of shutting it down, what ive been posting in this thread would read alot different...

Because it's not the fact it's 'sexy', the objection is with the taming process and the fact it then becomes the equivalent of a virtual slave. whipping a woman until their spirit is broken isn't actually that far removed from what happens in real life when men take women to turn them into sex slaves.

I am sure if there were monsters in real life they would complain, but women really do exist in real world and whipping them can bring some bad reputation to this game. (but maybe it is thought that any kind of publicity is good publicity?)

I have to respectfully disagree with your first statement. They may be androids and not human, but they are an image of a woman. Just because the term "android" is slapped on them doesn't detract from the fact that they look like a woman, sound like a woman, etc. It's a very thin line- and at the end of the day it is a video game and none of it is real.
My professional code of ethics demands that I "act to prevent and eliminate domination of, exploitation of, and discrimination against any person, group, or class on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity..etc" I know this is a game, but it is a game I've invested a lot of time/energy/money in and I strongly believe tamable "female androids" are an example of some type of domination/exploitation. I understand I'm getting off topic, and people could think this is stupid. But if I made one person stop and think for a few seconds, then I feel my obligation is met.

It's all in the mind, both in the real world and the virtual world. In the real world we're agreed it would have negative consequences though, if reenactment of such scenarios is not consented to by all participants. In the virtual world, there are no such consequences to any kind of "incorrect" play. Only people who have trouble discerning fantasy from reality have a problem with that. Those belong under treatment and not into any position where they get to make rules for all.

Actually quite funny to watch the mudfights over this. Nobody will accept the other side's arguments. It just goes round n round n round...

I do not like tabtabs, bunnies, most pets for that matter.

Should we all have an option to turn off content we don't like?

No, but it might be nice to be able to turn off the posts of people who haven't bothered to read enough to even understand the subject before they start blathering and trying to stir up shit.

again hypocrisy..so is ok to hunt them down and steal their loot, to murder them for profit, to become killers for money, to exterminate them but we cant whip them and turn them into "slaves"! is a fuckin game!
