Scopes and Laser Sights

Hi all,
when I stopped playing EU some years ago, there were a lot theories about scopes and laser attachments.

Was there any statement by MA or is there any new solid information, what Skil mod% and Attahcment Skill Bonus mean/are used for?

yes, in one of the dev notes they mention that they work best on max range & the effect get's smaller when the mob comes closer to you

Not much announced on em, but I can say that when I returned from a cashout a couple years ago, (went down to 2k skills) I ran with attachments since. (jzar + 2x hunnir)

*I dont know what i was thinking my numbers were wrong off top of head...5 level dif anyhow
My Hit is now 66
My damage is 61

Most people at those levels I speak with Have more damage than hit, and ran largely without attachments.
