eomon loot forgottten?

Hello, Just thought I would check with others on this as it seems eomon loot is not even active. This is in regards to the email they send me :

"Special Migration Event Mission

This year’s migration offers a special Eomon Blood Sample Collection Mission. The mission can only be done during migration, so go get started right now!

There are no eomon blood samples yet.....so why are you telling me to go out and hunt for them? I am now 600 kills in.....and I feel duped.

Also in the first day there were galactica parts dropping, and not one has dropped in the last 400 eomon kills.

So did the loot manager try to turn these on and break them or ? ...anyone else seem to have "missing loot" ?


Not sure if I should just finish out the next 100 eomon kills for 1k and forget about migration forever or what.....
 
Yeah, I did 1300 killpoints and noticed there was no blood or rares on the chat or hof page.
Didnt feel like migration so I stopped too
 
Man that really sucks... LT seem to be missing loot too, personally have halted all ped spending on Migration.
 
They are busy with other things, give it time guys... Just take a chill pill they will probably have it all sorted by next month.

Still it shows you have no clue if you think MA took all those 120k

A great deal of it went to other players.

Exactly, I don't understand why people are still so surprised (would understand a new player to complain.)

This is how it fucking works, they patch shit, they add few items to loot with 1% probability of dropping.
1% is so much, that everything drops within first minutes after it's added.

Rinse and repeat.

It's the same shit since forever.

Standard... although they're doing a good job of holding onto the second ring to rule them all.

I guess the question becomes, where do we actually go for the info....

Email was sent to me yesterday morning telling me to go loot DNA for mission, hunted eomon 4-5 hours, was a false ad.
They have articles regarding it and a page on the ma site showing the current migration status...(as if it started already)

Is there somewhere else that states this was actually going to start at a different time?
Maybe I am missing a critical place to look. Previous years, there was no delay in loot distribution, or the event that I recall....once eomon showed up...things dropped.
 
In the email is the 10. announced but no time.
So the still are on schedule :wise:

My guess: start between 15:00 and 18:00 UTC

Yes, typically while we here in the US are working :laugh:

I read the email, went to the site and read the comics, etc. I couldn't tell if there was a separate mission to acquire to get blood samples, or if its going to work like all the others where you just grind and pray to lootius to get a drop to trade into some npc for some goodie :scratch2:
 
Just thought I would up this again, had another hunt, 60 eomon killed 500 ped returned, doesnt even cover ammo.

Where I had been looting rad conveyors and flux every hunt, now in the last 6 hunts (@350 eomon) there are none, and all seem to be abnormally low return for me so far.

2k ped gone in 500 eomon kills....just seems really really off to me. Could certainly be a bad cycle I suppose, but the odds are getting slimmer every time it continues.

That and well its been a few more days and no eomon DNA still.....despite the email directing us to hunt them for it.

I have a suspicion, ...there is stuff that should be there in our loot that is simply not(based on them saying there should be)...and with zero responses so far on the issue, I have little trust MA even knows themselves whats going on with the loot.

I will say it really gets me when a company says one thing and it isn't the case, really bugs me more when they fail to respond, when it is noticed. And considering the RCE aspect I imagine this to be a fairly thin line to run across, akin to saying there is a sweepstakes...without a prize.


So here's to some exposure, maybe someone will look into it...or at the very least...allow the DNA to drop you stated would be dropping.
 
Hey Forgo, you are 100% right on what did MA was suppoese not to happen ,however you are here long enough to know already they can't be trusted with such statements.

I supose MA problems with keeping their word is main reason for their struggle as gaming company.
 
From mindarks vievpoint thats an awesome strategy. The first weeks on migration everyone is pumped and hunt them to no end. But migration goes for months, the interest and activity level is dropping and its maybe a good idea (in their eyes) to give prices out mid and end migration to keep the turnover high.

With mindark staff using affilate links to casinos i can imagine everything.

Small sample

its true items are completely gone, but there is not any missing loot in TT value.
items just turned into shrapnel and ammo until MA decides to pull the switch.
 
60 mobs is a very small sample size.. not even worth bringing up.

I did 12,000 ped on longtooth.. with only 3 ped markup. It is incredibly embarrassing for Calypso. I didn't get any email about any Eomon DNA. What I do know that if it is the same as last year, it won't be as lucrative.

I killed 3200 Lontooth (2k + mature , 500 + young the rest Old and prov)
No HOF ; No damn items, well except 1 ESI (10.78 ped) (1 igni 1010 and 1 isis four-> but that were in 1st 50 mobs)..... till now only damn ammo and tt crap ....
Don't wanna know how much I lost.....
And as I talked with other grinders there, this apply for everyone ...
So is just a bad start of migration to increase the loot pool. Just stick hunting and grinding and when the time will come.... well.... you have high chances to be one of the chosen :p

Are these samples still for melee amps? And if so what impact will this have on the current amp prices?

Ofcourse if i know MA corectly they will only drop for a few hours and rest of migration they will live up to their "rare loot" name.

But pretty lame imo.
