I keep forgetting to take screenies but here is a few numbers.
Reduction is exactly the same but maybe crit numbers will be useful for some purpose...

All on L52 Eomon young
Note that Athenic and Ares (L) rings were equipped.

Found break point : first occurrence of higher reduction.
Same mob, same rings.
Reduced 11.7 hp at Evader 45.9703.

Great, I think that will turn out to be useful when I get round to analysing this stuff.

It would be very useful at this point to get data from the same person with and without an Athenic ring. I believe that the ring reduction is a proportion of the maximum damage, so for example if the mob does max 100 damage then the Athenic (L) ring will always reduce the crit by 4 points, in addition to the 'natural' reduction from Evader level.

If this is correct, it means that two data points at similar Evader levels, one with a ring and one without, would be enough to confirm the maximum damage for a mob with 100% certainty.

The same would apply for pets with the crit reduction buff. I don't know if anyone has got one to a high enough level to unlock the buff yet.
