Title says it all, who are we supposed to cater with this game?
The graphic nerds:
Don't think so, without even comming close to utilzing the cryengine or this decades directX.
There are multiple graphics bugs and there's hardly nothing smooth about any animation in entropia.
The "second lifers":
Who'd wanna roleplay a second life in a game where all clothes are bugged and uggly and nobody can even color the things? Houses, apartments and shops that all look the same and has very little use or appeal. Where the rest of the "living universe" only care about grinding, making the cities folkempty and dead.
The "quick fixers":
self explanitory and IMO that's a good thing, I like dedication to the game.
The "Lore geeks":
The ones that read every book in skyrim, who came here looking for a living breathing universe, ready to immerse themselves in a character and find their place in the universe only to find out there's no immerseion, there's no story,(honestly how many of you have even read the "history" on the home page and know what Project entropia really means?) and the events are copy pasted for ultimate profit.
The "can you really make money in this game?:
yes we get a shit ton of those but how many stays? Have you started to feel like a con-artist when you explain to people the effort and dedication needed but that's it's worth it? The never stay for more than 2 hours either way.¨
The " it's all about game play":
Graphics don't matter as long as the game is good! Better not be afraid of insects because bugs are all we've got.
The "game mechanic nerds":
no irl skills needed move along
The "sci fi lovers":
Next island, rocktropia, the new "wtf is this an iphone game"-looking pets no need to say more.. maybe fantasy lovers will enjoy it though
The "adult gamers":
"wow is full of kids the player base here is much nicer" <- still a thing but not in the way it used to
The "gamblers"
if this game is made to attract any kind if gamers it's the gamblers who don't care that it isn't pretty and the mechanics are broken and the returns are bad... and that's kinda sad but I guess we're all in the same boat, welcome aboard
On a different note I really love the log in music, it feels full of adventure and anticipation!
If only we had a story to match
