As you can imagine, I have been trying to contact him since, but he appears offline.
I guess he has me in the ignore list so am not expecting to get anything

Just a couple of observations:

1. Have the conversation about how to treat high-markup-value items BEFORE you join a team.

2. Only expect trusted friends to actually split the value of high-value items with you.
Others may actually do as well, but there is no requirement within the game rules that compels them to.
While failing to do so may be considered a breach of faith, or an indication of their personal integrity, it isn't a 'scam'.

so he looted esi and wont split it? not a scam, just a douche.

it can be called scam, since both agreed that they will share items.
Situation is rally annoying and old, that is why teaming in Eu not became very popular.

I hope people will not ruin their reputation for 10usd worth esi.

Wouldn´t be an issue, if not agreed to split.

It is a scam if both sides agreed to split items!

Personally I prefer team, where is clear NO item split !

Whats wrong with not posting very often? I rarely post, chat, or team for this reason, plus you hear of people getting banned for stupid stuff.. Personally to scared to interact with people I don't know IRL, you do a trade with someone, all of a sudden your banned, you say how you feel about something on a forum, bang you broke some rule your banned, you agree to team hunt, you get screwed... I would love in interact with more people, but you just never know who your dealing with, to many grey areas, and sadly they are protected more then you.
