This selection might be the personal preference from the writer , there are more popular free to spend your house in our CS games out here with a lot more players and revenue.

I play/have played those 5. .
Skyforge is the most "new" one, work with a few quest. Similar to EU in the fact that you have only one avatar. You must accumulate token to unlock spell/ attribute/damage. No crafting .

Wildstar recently re-release as a free to play, might worth a look. Classical theme-park MMO.But the quest are sometime slightly amusing. The Video released by Carbine are often funy.

Tera and Aion... never played enough to get something ou of it.
