Just out of curiosity, if anyone would like to share, what do you do IRL?

I'm intrigued to see what kind of diverse playerbase EU attracts.

I'm the head Programmer/Developer at a small town Web Development company. I mainly specialize in PHP/MYSQL and Custom WordPress development (even though I hate WP). We also do graphic design and video production, which is what I initially went to school for. I'm also starting to dabble in desktop application/game programming xD.

I've noticed that a lot of friends I have made in EU are in a similar field, perhaps something about it attracts us nerds ;). How about you?

From 30th June 2014 I have been working at a Gas & Plumbing Company in Central London as an Administrator (Head) and currently in my spare time I 'am studying to get a qualification in Business & Administration Level 2 (NVQ). Will definitely be studying for a full year doing other free courses.

IT Director/ Application Manager for State of Massachusetts..

20+ years in the IT field. Currently as licensed and certified IT-Specialist in Unix/Linux based servers and systems for the city municipality. Also work part time as a certified personal trainer.

Managing Director of manufacturing company (Electronics/IT)

Lots of IT here I see.

I've been in IT for 30+ years. I run my own software consulting company to help companies develop new Windows desktop and Web application in .NET, C# and SQL Server and to take these products to market. I'm a certified MSDBA and MCSE. I also provide business and IT planning for companies. One of my specialties is performance analysis and I have helped many large corporations isolate, identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. I also give public lectures on the topic and am a published author.

Unfortunately I don't have much time to play EU these days, but I still enjoy the game when I do get to play.

Digital print tech - artwork processing, Zebra ID card printer tech support, .net programmer - embedded and desktop, desktop support, network support and phone engineer. And some mechanical support.

Probably got some more but forgotten them.

And that was just this week.

After many years in the workforce, I have returned to school. In addition to being a full-time student, I also help out at the student Veteran Center on our campus as part of the VA work-study program.

In a previous life, restaurant GM.
