Did anyone get anything aside from the Pumpkin Sweats this year? I logged in on CP and, as far as I can tell, that's all that I got. Apparently, all of the things that we would have previously gotten as gifts are now available for purchase in strongboxes?

I understand that gifts are gifts and you should be grateful for them, but i can't help but feel like Charlie Brown here.

Not really a gift if you have to demand it or have above average expectations.

VIRTUAL WORLD DEVELOPMENT
The Virtual World Casinos of VegasToMacau will be built using the Entropia Platform graphic engine by MindArk PE AB,, utilising all the experience and quality associated with Entropia Universe but in a totally separate environment. Vincere B.V. is developing the first truely immersive 3D virtual world casino. Actual gambling activities are browser-based and are processed through servers provided by the third-party casino software operator located in authorised jurisdictions.
Pull up to the casino in your new virtual wheels and walk around freely in one of the many virtual casinos or clubs. Meet some friends and take a spin down the strip. Is that another sports car next to you? How about a street race for cash or pink slips!
As the virtual world casinos of Vegas to Macau evolve we will bring you real world venues from the other side of the world to enhance your entertainment experience to the fullest.

MA has learned some new stuff with the latest partnership.

It's usually X-mas when we get 3 gifts. (And thanks to MA for those each year, BTW)

Halloween gifts seem to fluctuate in qty. (Again, thanks to MA for any and all gifts they give us on whatever holiday they choose.)

Free items? Yes, please and thank you.

I get gifts from family/friends each year during certain occasions and never do I complain about the qty. Perhaps you do?

Let's say that every year, your spouse/parents/significant other/whatever gives you a pair of socks and a new Xbox or something for your birthday. Then one year, they give you a pair of socks and tell you that they will sell you raffle tickets for a drawing for an Xbox or whatever.

Now, if your spouse/parents/significant other/whatever were having financial or some other difficulties and couldn't give out presents one year, you wouldn't think twice about it and you'd do whatever you could to help them out. But, if you had taken the time to find them the perfect gift for every occasion and then, when your birthday rolls around, they decide they'd rather spend the money on a weekend in Vegas for themselves, wouldn't that cause you to be a little concerned about that relationship?

Or, let's say that your employer gives an annual year-end bonus which is a substantial part of your salary. Then, around December 28th, instead of handing you your bonus check, they give you a membership to the jelly-of-the-month club and tell you that, if you work a bunch of unpaid overtime, you have a chance to win your bonus check. Even a dimwitted corporate lackey would have to be smart enough to start looking around to see what other opportunities exist in the job market.

But this is neither of those. MA are not my family, friends, or employer. They are a company with whom I do business. Part of the fun of playing the game is receiving the odd little gifts or bonus items throughout the year. Additionally, I spend a lot of money on their services, and also own an apartment that I have no real use for.

If they were so busy or having difficulties to the point where they couldn't afford to pay the developers to come up with new items, I would be disappointed, but I would understand. That isn't really the situation here, though. They handed out some recycled trinket from last year, developed a completely new set of items similar to the sort of bonus items that we normally would have received, and decided that it would be really cool if we were to pay extra money for the opportunity to win them.

Forgive me if I am a little disappointed.

Do not look onto the teeth of the gifted horse (Russian proverb) ;)

I think you mean

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth

Well that how i have heard it and said it over the years

I was hoping for new costumes or masks as gifts...
But I guess I will have to wait & hope for loot.

But sometimes, don't you feel like it is the other end of the horse that they are pointing at us?

funny, they didn't even update the pumpkins to say 2015. They still say 2014, lol.
