Time for a really ugly update... I took 5k peds to UG to try some big terra amps. Cycled and recycled...but sadly no prize at the end of the road, and 4.5k peds gone off my card. I'll get it back eventually I guess, but today was definitely not my day. Total amps used: 9x TA 8's 5x TA 9's 8x TA 10's.

On the bright side I hit 50 prospector and unlocked miner skill!

Yes, (with UL amp, UL Finder) in several places it is still possible.

Added: Redulite was nerfed after last patch, therefore Shinook is now less profitable

you can get 115% on planet... but again tough the new average all around is 105-8%

Yes, in your case (with UL Level 5 Amp) it is close to impossible.

It appears that your amp cost includes markup (last run 195 PED probe cost + 825 PED amp cost). If you use d-class/lvl8, shouldn't the TT cost of amp be 195 × 4 = 780 PED? I assume you also include markup on your enhancers as well?

This is a reason why all this is unprofitable (with your overall MU 109%).
Perhaps you should move to your UL Level 2 and change planet. I know at least 2 places on Arkadia where overall MU is 114-119%

My overall MU last week is 119% (only 5K+ PED turnover)

Oh yeah I'm sure its not helping. I guess I was just messing around for the time being, hoping to get a bit more tt recovery. I hit a 1.4k zinc (more junk mu missed the alt), on my current run to be updated soon. But anyway, yeah you make a good point. I will likely go into grind mode soon with the eco setup.

Added: I am contemplating just starting fresh if I do so. I know that the big amp runs really skew my numbers. Especially with the recent UG activity, that alone was 3.5k in MU on amps which I've been adding to my amp cost tally. Historically I always tracked MU cost separate, but for the sake of simplicity on the log I just went with overall.

Well I decided to try one last go at HELL before ending this log....and it would appear that I suck at indoor mining....lol. I'm some 200+ globs since my last real multiplier, would expect something to happen soon, but I'm done throwing ped at it. Going to stop this log now at a pretty ugly loss.
