Spot on! They don't.
Several core features of the game are dead or just a pale shadow of what they once were.

C[lub]N[ever]D[ie] (and the actual ND's success story behind it!) was once the place for all the bold and beautiful. Human vanity is a powerful motivator in itself, plus the live music parties, domes and Champions League events were indeed lot of fun.


I know, it wasn't ultimately MA's fault. They say at certain point CND had to be sacrificed to save EU.
ND is trying to revive the Champions League tradition on Rock... but that's it.

It was too hard for MA to actually do something about this. Giving it up and redirecting the resources outside EU seemed like better solution.


Another massively fun event, LandGrab is nowadays barely alive. Compared to the pre-Cryengine event that involved massive alliances of societies on both sides what we have now is just a tiny crooked caricature of the past splendor.

And again, was it too hard for MA to improve the situation?
Instead of redirecting all efforts to turning the game into this strange investment-fest?
Y'know, everybody's an damn investor these days, nobody left to actually play the game.

It seems quite obvious the decision makers in MA are not familiar with the concept of fun. Instead, they are doing what they know best - investments, virtual banking, and cash grab campaigns.

Don't get me wrong, investments and virtual banking would be allright. Provided the core of this game, the fun factor and all the basic features are well designed and maintained.
Without it, it's just an empty shell. Kill the horse, load more weight onto the carriage and then wonder why it's not going anywhere. Not an inch closer to the size of the playerbase we had before engine switch.


Think about that and tell me u seriously believe they know what they're doing?

The only issue here is that MA would not be using GoDaddy.com to host this site and what's more any one setting up a scam/joke can put in any contact info they would like for the domain. So yes. If you like..go ahead and sign up and give out as requested:

I hoped until last that thing was fake but now many new questions are rising.

If MA who already have all our data need it again then what happened?
Did they messed users profiles and lost some data like few years back with gender and birth data and now need our input again? Well we can do it with all security and gold card on MA support site if is for that.
Remember is not just e-mail upon registration but a lot more info latter because they need to determine the weight of our vote (where someone having company, social network, long experience in development and similar will have 100% weight of that single vote and average avatar 0,01% lol)

They actually changed or forced to change several avatar names they said were inappropriate. The guidelines were if you used your own real name in the avatar name or it was offensive/inappropriate or if it was a different real person, iirc. One example of the middle was the avatar that goes by Juicy.
