I always tell people don't chase the swirls...
Within 10 hours I cycled roughly 2k ped, missed an X2 rifle drop, thought was just gonna be a bum deal.
Even then I wasn't after the X2 mainly or even any amount of golden swirl. I was actually just trying to finish my Guardian Armor Set (f) by self looting. Needed the helm, arms, and thighs. Btw none of them dropped, only got three pieces in approx 1800 Pan kills, two gloves and shins.
Last night was a blast, nearly a global every 2 - 5 minutes with calm moments of 15 - 30 before I started lighting up the sky again. I got roughly 30 total in 7 hours.

Today was super slow... only 5 globals in three hours, the X2 dropped for another guy, loot was getting scary, and because I had cycled 1500 ped and had a return of 1780 or so I thought MA had come back with a vengance to take it all away and then some!
I got down to the last two minutes of my 1 hour auto loot pill, I generally do 1 hour runs regardless of how good or bad. I may do multiple reps of 1 hour runs if my significant other isn't home.
Then low and behold big golden lights, I thought I had hit the X2 drop, I was so busy searching the loot box for the rifle under the L weapons to realize it wasn't a rare loot hof. Instead it was a shiny little 420 ped hof.
2000 ped cycled, 2750 ped return for 10 hours... was a beautiful golden day.
