Question: Multiple finders

Is there an advantage to using multiple finders on the same location at the same time ?

Ie has anyone experienced an actual depth map ?

I wouldnt say they had an advantage.
Some finders find Paticular ores/enamtts better than others but thats just the depth

I did try this a few years ago before I chipped out all my mining skills.

I was comparing F-101 vs F-105. I noted down claim size and depth while testing them. Since this was several years ago I don't still have the numbers, but average depth and claim size was deeper and bigger with F-105 than with F-101. How ever, claim hit frequency was greater with F-101. I did also quadruple-bomb every spot. If I found a claim, I would drop a bomb with the same finder again. If I got no hit I switch to the other finder, and very often I would get a new claim at either a greater or a lesser depth.

It is very much worth the experiment.

All depends what you want to find. Different resources - different depths.
Using different finders for additional claims (as I understand your question) - no, I don't use.
