Only profit is if you are using a EPIV on full condition and get really lucky.
 
Are you selling the explosives you crafted, using them yourself to hunt with, or just TTing em? If you are TTing them, perhaps you should find another way to utilize the stuff you are crafting and think about why you are crafting them in the first place... Maybe cycling them through hunting loot pool could help up your profits, or at least your fun (since all loot pools are probably about the same on actual returns). :)

Tried it was a really big turn off. EPIV is like the Chuckle Brothers its like to me to you to me to you :D Sure mega will post a vid for me to explain the process of the chuckle brothers :). il stick to normal prints and pray i hit a load of opals or summit their good mu atm.
 
100 PED in EP II is too short and waist if you do it for skilling or hoping for a big one.

I do runs in full quality for 200 PED at a time, for using the metal resi an hoping of a good BP.
From 5-7 runs only the 1 can be at + and that can level my loss at a reasonable point.
I have alot runs in around 60-70% returns.
As about rare BP? is not going to drop to me this decade i'm sure.

So don't waist your money that way too.

You won't profit, not short term (unless you are lucky) or long term.

You cannot beat the system, MA will always take their cut.

You can only profit if you sell to other players, and that is presuming the markup you make covers MA costs.

In this case, the markup from explosives and metal resi is so low, you don't have a hope.

Well, yeah. These are just about the closest thing we've seen in Entropia to an actual slot machine, and it's a known fact that slot machines are a loss in the long run. But does Vegas have people feeding the slot machines on a daily basis? You bet! MA knows what they're doing. ;)
 
I think because of the way the chance of success works the odds are always fixed at a loss for this type of crafting (unless you get lucky on the expense of someone else's loss)... Unless of course you have a 100% success rate...


It is 20 pec a click and a success gives approximately 20 pec of stuff back? Therefore anything less than 100% success will result it loss.

(i think the actual return is something like 20.001 pec or something - so maybe it is possible to break even :scratch2: - or I could be completely incorrect :laugh:)

Crafting doesn't make sense to me, in theory crafting should be the only 1 of the main 3 professions that can always guarantee a profit as long as TT value of parts < TT value of crafted goods.
