Lost 3000 skill points during update

Maybe jumping the gun on this, support case has been issued.


I assume a skill has been removed, but I have to go to work so won't be on for a few days so...

I have lost around 3000skills points since before the update.

I'd check yours, just in case.


UPDATE:

Would seem social no longer counts towards total skill count.

confirmed... same here and pissed, and wtf is up with the new blue coconut for a pill? :scratch2:

Maybe reputation and attribtutes not counted anymore toward total skills?
 
knocked off nearly entire point in health for me. on top of my 3k lost
 
Yea confirmed social doesnt count
 
i seemed to lost ~2k also, but going to social tab, it says total skills 0 on top.
so my guess is reputation doesnt count anymore then

Can confirm as people have already mentioned.

Social no longer counts towards total skill count.
 
Does this affect anything, except less total skills?
 
It is more than the social skills missing, as i've definitely lost a whole HP

Edit: It would appear that the social skills actually gave us 1 hp if at 1k, now they don't.

That is just lame, I recently reach 167 so when I log in I should be at 165? Douche buggery move MA.
 
Since this is something affect entire playerbase I'm not going to make a support ticket.
Please keep informed us for the reason that happened.
Some official announcement should follow... maybe?

Don't panic.

I can confirm that definitely no skills are missing/lost value!

Prof:
- I always scan my skills on the 1st of a month
- had no much time to play yet in December
- skilled melee for first time in long time yesterday

I just checked my actual skills vs last scanned - no skills lost, skills gained where expected.


As like some mentioned it might be Social or Social + Attributes that do not count in total.
Technically they are not skills.
Maybe Mentoring as well.

Someone could scan current skills to deduct it properly.

Lost a rank in my primary profession and that's something I DONT LIKE AT ALL! :mad:

What profession do social skills contribute to?

Also calm down people, if there are any bugs MA will fix that fast, so no need to rage like small kids over missing few points in your total skills, or one HP for short time.

I have lost this 2k skillpoints like the rest but not any HP Points.

I mistaken and edited my post

and yes it is social points only
 
Do you guys look at your skillpoints daily, how could you remember them so precisely? :) I can only tell mine within +/- 10k range, so wouldn't notice a change.

However I do know my hp due to getting a new point only 2 days ago, and it hasn't changed a bit.

I'm trying to remember my levels not points :)
but sometimes I can make mistakes especially if I don't log for couple days.
 
This change doesn't bother me unless it interferes with my avatar's health.

So will check but glad to see it has not affected other players in this way.

hehe, I wasnt expecting at something like this. Good job for Meculus, but I think some are exagerating with these 3k skills. I dont care about them anyway :)
 
Could someone explain to me why these particular "skills" exist at all?
