Hello,

I will be logging again. This time skilling shortblades because I have no fun laser weapon and I don't feel like getting one. Also, I'm stuck at L61 in laser hit, which would require cycling roughly 300k for commando. BEcause I won't be cycling 100k a month now, that feels too farfetched for now. I am stuck with a T7 ArcSpark that I got in a trade, my goal this time around will be to max that one out which happens at L55. Should be quite quick and cheap to do. Secondary goal will be better results than LT but with lesser effort.

DPS will be priority. Fun will be priority.

Most hunting will be done on Caly initially. Got some crap I need to get sold before travelling to Ark.

Skills saved and will be added once I have time to do so. Log will be detailed, tracking everything and adding MU on the go, much like last time. I have a big pile of pills that will be used.

Starting levels that are relevant:

Knifefighter dmg: 33.56
Knifefighter hit: 31.22
Evader: 33.50
Paramedic: 26.13

i will most likely progress using the ark ul blades. No fun blades at this level though, except the shock dagger. Guess I need to start out by finding one.

Edit: There appears to be zero limited shortblades around. WTF MA!? Guess I'll need to overpay for a shock dagger then or start out by hunting snables...

Edit2: Patience is not my strong side. Went with RSB s1x2 and trauma VI. Evis, here I come!

Might I suggest khorum coast for melee rewards. :)

On a completely different note, have fun with the skilling. Don't chip. If you want to chip, just load up on enhancers, it'll be cheaper.

Not surprised. Lack of swirlies and small run. Cycling is terribly slow at these levels. Only 5 levels of damage and 7 levels of hit until weapon upgrade.

Edit: Went with 10.95 ped worth of combat reflexes. Did however not include the progress gained from that.

I would however like to have an output above 500 ped per hour before I start participating in programs like yours. Need to keep the swirls frequent to make it viable. ;)

I need to double check the starting paramedic level with jdegres tool. No way in hell I could have such gains. Will also update last nights post with the CR gains.

Skilling was a bit slower than expected so I guess I'll go with some neurostim X2s tonight and see if I might be able to fetch an imp ares and/or a bigger amp.

I'd happily take on any input on prices of a ranked combat knife and also suggestions for suitable mobs for now (sub 1K HP and melee rewards). Will spend a few more days on Caly before hitting Ark where I intend to grind KC and LA4.

Suggest to take a look at Huon, its mission rewards all along the way and esp. the repeatable stage. It has above 1k hp, but is pretty easy. And a nice reward program, too (cf. Ark forum).

However, I need a tagger and it gets boring to just stand around a.d wait for the mob to arrive so dropping a few shots into it while doing so.

Wouldn't mind that a bit. :)

Currently it's at t0.9 and haven't made my mind up whether or not I should tier it. Should be able to jump to RCK/Fire dagger in two weeks time so might not be worth tiering it.
 
Tonight's update will be fun, unless things make a very dark turn.

Decided to stay with troxes. No markup but wouldn't mind that batch of evade that the mission grants. Also looking to collect 200 bio ids.

Tiered the blade up to T1. Hit 35 dmg and closing in on being able to use the RCK and fire dagger. Most likely I will be using damage enhancers, so quite certain I'll go for the RCK over the fire dagger.

Still looking for more input on the price of it.
