This will probably be a good investment if the price is right. I wonder if someone will try to buy it out right rather than a consortium effort.

Does anyone the approximate monthly income of a stable?

The moon seems to be under very good management at the moment.

Stables lose money on even cyrene. They gain less then cost of buffs. Monria's stable will not produce income.

The new owners have changed rules during events, and are doing other nefarious and dirty tactics. They dropped my affiliate link I used for 2 years and are stealing my affiliate income even. They kicked me from their adviser team I founded 2 years before they purchase the place because I had too much initiative. They are control freaks.

In their short time in charge they have proven how bad a player managed area can be when managed by the wrong, greedy, power hungry players.

Wow. Their event prizes are a joke as well...

If i .......

Believe in the pet stable buffs become viable and important in the future on a daily basis
Believe in Compet success
Believe in the Successful interaction between our two games
Believe in moonria become more populated
Believe in Mindark not going down despite many years of negative income

... this is an insanely awesome investment :cowboy:

Things Are going well on Monria. I know it because I have to keep restocking my shop!

Things are going very well on Monria indeed! I love the fact that the people in charge actualy PLAY the game and listen to their player base. You can find most of their team, including Anhithe, Kendra (Ant's better half) and DarkMoon Enigma on board the Yamato almost every friday and sunday during the VIP warp flights leanding a hand on repair duties.... or Ant escorting the Yamato in his Equus in an event to fend off pirate attacks.... its great fun! It really is!

Now lets talk about those greedy buggers at Monria..... that handed me the deed for a Monria shop and penthouse to use for TKoE soc business.... AT NO COST. Lets talk about the many many prizes (up too and including estate deeds) that Anhithe has given out in the very short time I've known him - maybe 6 months now... give or take.

You are entitled to your negative opinions - even if you couldn't be more wrong if you tried.

I invite you to join us this saturday for the Monria St Patties Day Event! I'll even buy you a virtual pint!

Most stables are either out of operation, or operating at a loss. Currently they aren't worth the ground they are build upon. But at least i see it as a good sign that MA is selling another one, it must mean they haven't forgotten about that and maybe they'll start adding some of the promised functionality.

they better start giving us a real stable, we now have a stupid claimmarker

Monria has a core of loyal citizens which are in great relations with the owners and which received countless advantages from them (one of them was mentioned here by Catman himself - free usage of shop and penthouse for his society).

On the other hand, if you dare to disagree with the owners or even worse with his secretary (or CFO or whatever she's called there) the honeymoon will be end and they will make sure to take revenge - they react very negative to even the best worded constructive criticism.

My personal experience with Monria's owners was more than negative - more details here.

Very true, you can't take the word of loyal soc mate fanboys as truth here. They are all extreme biased.

Agreed. They made 1 stable and put it at Ithica I believe. The rest of the stable bidders still only have claim markers. (The group I'm with are in possession of Port Atlantis stable which is still just 2 sticks in the ground)

Ah seriously give it a rest. I'm not a Tkoe member, I'm somebody who came to Monria about 3 months ago and have loved it ever since. The community spirit there is second to none, I have had fun every single day I've been there, with or without ped.

Really, you have to jump on every Monria article? Things didn't work out with you there, so u are crusading against the place? It isn't damaging the place you know, Its growing everyday. You call them control freaks which is laughable, they are constantly implementing player suggestions.

But carry on if it makes you feel better, but in my opinion life is too short for carrying grudges.

Ithica and Twin Peaks have buildings, Also the Arkadia pet stable has a building, also think they added one on Toulan.

But ya all the others are pegs in the ground or dancing girls on RT.

The Cyrene one has a hut type building in keeping with the planet, inside has all the Cyrene tameable creatures for show and a sign above that says "Cyrene Pet Centre". Cyrene team likes us!

Yes, this is an opportunity to praise Cyrene, so I guess I should use it! They have managed to get at least some better visuals in place, well done.

My question, though: what's with this Monria stable? Where is it, when was it sold, to whom and for how much?
I saw a stable on sale at AH (Caly) recently, but it didn't seem to me to be on Monria, at least not by the name it had. That was set at 50k SB/BO and it didn't appear to leave a mark in the deed history (unfortunately other unknown deeds were on the same chart as the one the stable had), so it may have been withdrawn again from AH?

"... and generate revenue for the stable managers by charging a small fee for services in the stables."

Of course they're not mentioning that the stables business was pretty much rendered obsolete just shortly after it was introduced and investors hooked when the slurry of buff items started to rain from the strongboxes. The stables I used to visit didn't sell anymore after that. One doesn't know whether to laugh or to weep.

Wish the Monria one all the luck, they're gonna need it. It seems that its creation was the result of a user poll, so there may be hope. We'll see.

I wouldn't say rendered obsolete, those pills from the strongboxes are more expensive and last only short time compared to the full day+ for much cheaper from pet centers. Monria's pet center I can see selling Acceleration buff's, I been burning through speed pills like crazy up here because normal walking takes forever to get anywhere.

Spawn my bunny 8% speed, pop a pill +33% speed, pet acceleration for a day +12% I believe was last one I got, and then sometimes dump on my assult harrier. Can fly through those tunnels :D

I also use pet centers on planets when I find one with a buff that I like and need at the time to accent my other buffs usually speed is my most often bought buff.

Does anyone know if there is a comprehensive list of stable locations and their buffs available?:scratch2:

What is available is subject to change like the stock in any shop. I'm not aware of a central register.

Then I don't know why they said everything came to a screeching halt and stopped selling. They said it's not even worth the upkeep. I used to take the acceleration buff, too, mostly for melee hunting on Arkadia. I don't have the expensive bunny nor one of these aluminium cans.

Either a lot of people didn't understand it either, or they opted for the short-term, stronger buff because you seldom hunt for 24 hours at once (timer doesn't interrupt when you take a break). The stable offer becomes an afterthought, it just pales against the rest. Maybe it works better for Monria and the conditions there, that I don't know.

So I am a fanboy now?

Because I made an objective statement about sales in my shop?

If that's True. Then I would want all People on Monria right? Who's going to mine or hunt on my calypso landarea?
I also hold quite a number of ark deeds. ... etc etc.

I am a fanboy.I Love this game. That's it.

I just let you know I use them from time to time especially the acceleration buff as it gets me to max when stacking with other buffs. A few things are action and some are item type buffs. I think the stable is an action, the bunny passive effect is a action, the pills and armor and rings are items, so they all can add up together. Pills I believe are 5 ped a pop for 30min or something for the 33% pills the 12% acceleration from the stable is 2 ped for 24 hours do the math and you will see it is cheaper overall especially if you come and go all day long to play your buff is still there where those pills are gone and your popping 5 more ped away in 30 min.

Most people just pop the pills not realizing they actually are expensive to use and call the stables a waste of PED because they are expensive only because the price is listed and people subconsciously think expensive. If they put 5 PED on hover over on the pills I would think less pills would be consumed because of the fact dang that's 5 PED for small effect for 30 min what a ripoff but it is not listed that way people just consume and loose the relation with the cost of each consumption. MA is playing psychological games with you to make you spend more but think your spending less.

I rather run day long smaller buffs all day and pop the expensive pills when needed for short times then sit and pop them one after another to just keep the buff going. But that's just me.

I personally think stables don't stock buffs because it costs them ped to put the buffs up for sale and people think on lines like you and think pills are better and cheaper so they can't get their investment back for stalking the buffs. MA causes this mental instability not the stable owners the stable owners just suffer for it because of MA brainwashing with psychological attacks to spend more money on pills over using a cheaper alternative the pet stables.

I can only speak to what happened at Cyrene stable, as I'm on of the Co-owners.

When they made the change so that we had to buy the buffs and only get 75% of the income. We tried the acceleration, exp and focus buff, we either lost money or just broke even (which didn't cover the previous losses). We then tried just the acceleration buff, made a loss. The buffs then broke for a bit. Afterwards, we have the exp buff for 3 months and broke even, had it for next 4 months and made a loss. As the take up was less and less each month we didn't renew it.

We want to have the buffs up for people to use and just want to brake even (of course in a ideal world we'd want to make money but have to be realistic at the moment), the problem is that there is not enough consistent demand for the time being. A lot of our users regularly move planets.

The other problem we had at the first change is that the buffs became more expensive and gave smaller % on each buff, so use dropped and never recovered.
