My husband, Jim, was admitted to hospital late on Tuesday March 8, and died early on Monday March 21.
We were married for nearly 30 years - all of them happy. However, for 20 of those years, he had endured a progressive autoimmune disease, that left him with few resources to resist the viral infection that ended his life.
I'm not even going to try to explain how I feel about this.
Yesterday, friends and family came together to remember his life.
My thanks to Jod, Cyph and Gypsy for coming to support me through this.
Thanks also to the others who sent messages of support and sympathy.
Note that any responses in this thread that I deem inappropriate will be removed without notice.
This is not something to test me on.
