I thought botting went no further then a few auction bots and a few failed sweating mobs?
 
Hello, I am Bonnie and I am bot & Alt free. Hardly have enough time for one avatar never mind two! Bots sound complicated, I do auto use tool though... does that count? :ahh::laugh:

My soc Age of Enlightenment is as far as I am aware bot free - we are a tight nit group who treat each other as good mates. Unless one had a sneaky secret, I think we are good :)


As far as I am aware I do have a keyboard which can run a macro, but I am sure it would be pretty blooming complicated to programme on the MS guns.

No luckily it's still a rare exception.
It's not all so simple nice and innocent thou. Alts running fully automatic healing bots have been ingame for years. Hunterz got banned for running an advanced hunting bot and there's been rumors it wasn't last of it's kind. I personally can't tell if there's any truth in those rumors or not.
It's pretty damn easy to make a video that proves beyond doubt it's a bot so it seems to me we are one damn sloppy community if we can't get rid of those few ppl who're doing this shit. Assuming the rumors about hunting bots are true, that is.

100% bot free since forever.

The Wastelanders use an initial "trial membership" to screen new members. I believe that 100% of Wastelanders who have passed that initial trial period are bot free. They can be recognized by having received at least one promotion while in the society.

The Nymphs of Artemis, of whom I have been a member, are 100% bot free.

Danny, since you are the OP, will you be organizing the names in some way for reference? If not then I can see how this thread can be looked at as meaningless.

I do use A LOT of self made keyboard macro's, but I assume that is the whole point of a gaming keyboard, and I have never heard that there's any rules against it.

Well DannyO, you and I have met, so that should confirm I am not a bot. And my soc is cozy with 8 members and none are bots. A couple of them are Swedish tho o_O
 
i know someone who isn't bot free.... mr. Smith from Louisville, KY (probably a fake name)

has a bot listed for sale on a crowdsurfing site, i've just reported it

Anyone who was a bot would presumably have auto-replied within 3 seconds, so I think the rest of us can be assumed safe.
