WTF planet calypso downlload restarting!!!!!

OK ... I had no problem with the last update on my main comp ...
On my laptop .... wow another story ... I keep getting to 3-5%
on the planet cayplso download and it restarts ... over and over
WTF???????????????????????

ps I completely reinstalled the game ..... and it still keep happening!!!!!!!!!!
No matter what internet connection I use!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Would be helpful to know what OS you have. Did you try run the client update as administrator?

Heh ... wow ... got up to 44% now .....
I'll let it run overnight ... and maybe it'll work!
 
ok ... sorry ... btw ... kludge .... is a fix that most people wouldn't consider
I'm known for fixing computer problems ... that can't be fixed :>

and if new people are trying to download the game ....

Then you probably know that:
- wireless networks loose connection and reconnect a lot, apart from loosing packages
- eliminate variables when having a problem. wireless is a huuuge unreliable variable.

One can game on wireless, just don't expect the same reliability as with a wired connection. No matter how good your devices are, wireless can never beat a good old RJ45 :)

i had the same problem but it was only with download of next island secret island
 
client loader tools:

Options:
10.0 Mbit connection
download thread count 12.

Planet data:
uncheck every planet data download except for the planet you are on.


Use wired connection.


Can you launch the game even though update has not finished?
